Seems odd the excavator operator would be stacking materials where he would need to make his getaway. Just dump the spoils in the current it’ll wash it away

At that point, is it really necessary to swing each scoop 180°? Just drop that spoil into the flow. I guess it's the operator in me that notices that

It looks like that whole area that the water is flowing into was excavated out, probably for a reason. If they went through all that trouble why would they just dump loose fill back into it. This isn't an emergency situation, no reason to take short cuts. Do the job you (the operator) are contracted to do.
