@MarioCrosby668726 минут бұрын
@ahm Because they didn't. There is only one PRETTY much, not unamaious, agreement amongst everyone here: Petterson is a solid player. The other three are all wildcards because of their inconsistent play. That's why you people saying their great, while others think they all stink or any other combination. So the question becomes, as good as Petterson has been, is he worth a first round draft pick? Nope. Winner of the trade is the Penguins.
@ahmedaqeel0822 минут бұрын

For the penguins, this deal makes sense given the contracts, and the emphasis on their rebuild. I expect they may not be done yet. They should blow this team up for picks and prospects. Maybe Pittsburgh gets decent service out of this pair from the Canucks , but they sure didn’t cut it in Vancouver. For the Canucks, without Miller, they simply do not have a true number one center. His absence is going to further hurt their power play which has dropped off a cliff compared to last season. Nothing here makes me think they are going to be a legit playoff team. It’s possible they squeak in, but will be blasted by the JETS or any team capable of catching them. It’s hard to believe this years canucks are roughly the same team that tore through the league for the first few months last season. Were it not for Hughes and the surprisingly good play of Kevin Lankinen in net, the Canucks would be already planning their end of season vacations.

MP and DOC will be missed, I hope they do well in Van, Dubas getting what they got for 2 UFA who would have for surely would have cost more than what they brought in, who btw have short time on their contracts and also never took any additional roster spots away also an 18yr old is a bonus time will tell who won the trade on the surface Pens got a1st rdr
