Breaking Rudders & Hammering Dinks (Practice Day #2 ~ Pueblo Reservoir, CO)

Welcome back! This is practice day two (Saturday) for Colorado Kayak Fishing Club stop #2 at Pueblo Reservoir, CO. We were able to get on some solid bites and figure out where and what these bass were doing! Along with that, we (sage and I) got to catch a bunch of dinks in areas that we weren’t planning to fish during the tournament!

@@bigfishbucketlist Not yet, I'm typically pretty good about avoiding the trolling motor but when in spot-lock I've had some closes calls.

@CXANGLING gotcha. I just thought about all the times I've fought fish on one side only to have them swim to the other. In my Knarr I have to reach pretty far forward to get my line out in front of my kayak.

This day I was using a variety of baits and techniques. Mainly, I was using a Berkley Flatworm and and flippin/draggin a Googan Baits bandito bug.
