​@@arod927-01 Why? Well the reasoning being that Westbrook will compliment well for Rockets system and offensive plays. This is only because of Westbrooks explosiveness. OKC didnt have such great 3 point shooters. Russ could only dish out to PG, Ferguson or Grant. They stepped up their 3 point shooting, yes but OKC has poor floor spacing and that is something Rockets are really good at. If you dont answer Westbrooks drive, he dunks on you or puts up an easy layup for a potential and one. IF you do answer Westbrook, guess what? A high percentage 3 pointer standing behind the 3 point line ready to shoot the ball like a rocket in to the basket. Rockets wont be the best team, cause they will be playing with an unreliable system. You have to have atleast 3 shooters on form for them to win atleast 50 games. That is hard. So i expect Rockets to get at most 55 games in their back pocket, and atleast 45 games. CP3 was to small, short and not as explosive and dangerous in the paint. People are hating on Rockets for the trade, but i find this trade great, especially after what Russell said after losing the first round playoffs vs Portland. "They said i dont pass the ball, i started passing and became the leading player with assists. Now they say i cant shot, and i will become better at that next season". He has posted videos of him training on his shooting with his dad. So i definitely believe he will increase it, but not with much. Maybe 5% in field goal and 3 point shooting at most.

People got it wrong. Harden didn't leave Westbrook because he couldn't play with him. The owner was cheap and didn't want to pay Harden because he didn't do well one playoff when they were all together including KD. These two got no problem playing together and are dangerous together since now their not only experienced but good. They were very young back then. Yo the next NBA season is gone be nuts. Just when you thought the NBA was done shocking everyone. This happens. My god Thunder just blew their team up. I guess they really are doing a complete rebuild. For example, RJ Barrett will be a work in progress for a year or two at least, he's nba ready with all star potential but right now he's just a shell of that and without the right mindset and work ethic he could just as easily be Andrew Wiggins Jr, who at times was as hyped as Zion has been when he was being drafted

Harden was drafted in 2009 so him and Russ have playing in the NBA alone for 4 years together and Harden cried when he got traded from OKC because of the brotherhood they had. Russ doesn't play that much iso I seriously don't know what your watching other than highlight vids that don't include passing that would lead you to believe Russ didn't live to pass the ball this past season with PG. He was the only scorer on his team after KD left practically, so if you look at that footage then clearly he was ball dominant just like Lebron was when he had no one reliable in Cleveland. I think Russ will save the Rockets from that live by the 3, die by the 3 nonsense that has them losing multiple series to a team they were up on in the playoffs. Russ can't shoot 3s? I think having a coach that encourages him to try will make him much better, last season was his worst ever in 3p% he used to be at least OK at it, but even then... Maybe the rockets need someone who can't shoot to show them a way to win games when you aren't shooting well. Lobs to capella and free throws were about the only non-3 points that the Rockets had going for them

laysrayslays that’s true. Paul’s contract is an absolute albatross. Especially considering he’s a regular season player, if even that. When shit hits the fan, his hammy gives out. The only reason they’d fight to get it done, is due to the banana boat lovehood with bron. But I honestly see AD and Bron with good surrounding pieces much much better than even keeping AD and Bron and adding Paul. I like them keeping rondo. He actually had a solid year last year and didn’t get talked about nearly as much. He’s still one of the top pure pgs in the game.
