Breaking Silences [Ride the WAVES]

How do we break the silences around mental illness and suicide among Asian Americans? Nurse and community organizer Jian (Lily) Chen shares her story including her own daughter's mental health crisis and recovery. Together, with United Chinese Americans (UCA) her team invites you to join them in riding these 5 WAVES to break the silence to save young lives.

The speakers have completed fellowships in Clinical Scholars, a national leadership program supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) from 2016-2023.
