They'll probably be fine. Sony Animation is a different company than Sony live action films, they're a subsidiary of Sony. Its why all the animated films are completely different in tone and quality

They didn't make a lot of money actually a lot of them lost money for Sony. Sony just puts out whatever to keep the Spiderman IP. Those movies are God awful with no direction!

Noir was one of the, if not THE, best extended Spider verse characters. Nic Cage was the perfect cast for voice and I'm sure he can pull off the physical gig. It's up to Sony and the development crew to NOT screw this up.
