My focus had always been in helping others, to the point where I forgot to help myself. I heard her say 'no more tears -go back to your roots' and in a moment I knew exactly what she meant. It's so strange. How all of us of Hecate just call her simply "Mother" . I didn't hear others do this anywhere when I started referring to her as Mother 10 yrs ago. Her name literally means 'works from afar' and she will remain distant until you're ready. When that is, could be literally years...but to me, sure, it sounds like you have been chosen per say. My God, this was so empowering. I find it comforting. She reached out to me and I got scared. Especially after reading stuff online. I just recently have gotten back on the Divine path again, and have surrendered to the Gods and Goddesses. I have been working alot with Lilith lately, as she has been helping with my shame, and leading me to the All mighty Mother. In october of 2020, i made a tear streaked cry and prayer to the heavens to help free me from the prision of my addictions, and toxic relationship. I got really interested in mother hecate some weeks back because of a video that pooped up in my youtube for you page as i was spiritual and did tarot readings i got intrested idk if it's KZbin algorithm or smtg but i have been seeing alot of videos aboutt her and learning about her just yesterday i built a small alter for her with the things i have with me yesterday beefore i made the alter i felt a strange presence of someone guiding me everytime she signaled that it was not the right path and although i moved forward i failed then i made an alter for her the alter hasnt been officiall established as i want to light the candels during night time ps: i have this one thing that happens to me that i need help to understand, i feel heavy in my throth whenever someone close to me by blood or relation is about to die, it has happened since i was 9 and it still continues. every time i feel heavy in my neck as if someone is holding it, the next day i hear the news of someone died i love the divination witch for the knowledge she has shared me english is not my first language soo im sorry for the mistakes

I haven't had much time for The Craft but since I started looking into Wicca trying to find out more about this goddess which I found out that that there is many but the HeKate no matter what she has always came back to my attention and I begin to see that as being cold and I'm going to tell you since then my life has been crazy I had to start over three times kind of forced out of my hiding shell I still can't find the coven in this new area that I live in but enforce to look at what I've been hiding inside myself it was so I've been pushing quite a bit to to get out more and I've also been doing well always wanted to do I started my first draft of a novel I must say that I can see why she chose me for one there's always room for improvement I'm an old man now I've seen a lot but there was abandoned by society years ago and I've been a caretaker for those that have been abandoned for years. Over the years I've lost all my family don't gain real friends where I'm at now lost my home but I'm actually to a degree happy.

I feel abandoned and unwanted, unworthy because I can’t make an altar or leave physical offerings. My self esteem is in the toilet, I feel like nothing but a burden with no purpose. I wish I could have help healing, but I have nothing to offer her or any other deity like other open practitioners can. It’s deeply depressing because I would like nothing more than to have a meaningful connection and relationship with a mother and father type. But I just don’t know how

I was feeling drawn to Hecate due to Her role as a mother and protector, but also especially a protector of the marginalized. I went into Sustainable Development because I’ve always had a very strong environmentalist bent, but it taught me about a lot of the complex social justice issues, the systems that cause them, and why equity is so important. I don’t know my job role for Mother Hecate yet, but I suspect that I’ll figure it out as I continue on my path (though knowing my current self, it may be as a healer and an activist on this side of things, seeing as systemic injustice gets me really fired up and angry and wishing I could tear something apart).

hi. I don't comment on KZbin videos but I feel compelled to do so with this video. Also I'm sorry if I make any grammatical errors, my first language isn't English. I also have a tendency to jump from one thing to another because ADHD ^^* I reached out to Mother a month ago after realizing that I have been going through endless cycles of bad habits and I wanted to change for the better. The next day, I was brushing my teeth and next to my feet was a huge spider. The time I have spent with her was not easy at all but I am not saying that to complain. She led me to do things I was so uncomfortable with but is so vital to my growth, mainly establishing my boundaries, asking for help when I'm struggling, receiving and accepting love without having to prove myself I am worthy of it, and not letting people walk all over me which I have been so used to because that was all I've known my entire life. Besides that, I am generally an anxious person and I tend to stay in my comfort zone. She teaches me that change is not always comfortable and taught me this statement which I repeat every time I am scared of change: "In order for something to be reborn, something has to die." I am also fairly new to witchcraft, not exactly a baby witch. I have been looking into witchcraft for years now but I practiced it more passively if that makes any sense. I am planning to start a grimoire which Lady Hecate has told me to do. She even told me to reuse old playing cards and make my own tarot deck. (Context: I used to be an artist but I have stopped creating art because I am pursuing a different field that has nothing to do with art as my current major and I can't purchase a tarot deck yet because I live in a religious household and well.. I'm broke.) Sorry if this is all over the place... I had only 4-5 hours of sleep last night? Anyways, I enjoyed watching your videos and I am so glad I found your channel. I think Lady Hecate wants me to cross paths with you. I hope more good things come your way. Thank you for guiding people like me back to our Mother and please continue to do so.

I have had a weird time with Hekate. I don’t know if she was the right one ever for me, but still felt the closet to me in some ways. She was the first deity that I ever worked with, and it was great at first, but I also got into a toxic discord server that at the time I didn’t know was toxic. So many of the server was claiming that they were her high priestesses, and some even had a s3xual relationship with her that made me so uncomfortable as I viewed her like a mother figure. The server hurt my relationship with her in more ways I could count, which in turn gave me more trauma. I stopped working with Hekate for months, I took down her altar. I wanted her out of my life, but she never really did leave. I haven’t felt the same way about since after everything had happened, and it makes me sad because the way I once felt about Hekate was the same way you speak about her. While her signs and messages are still clear it’s so very hard for me to reach out and allow her around

I'm discovering your channel. I was at first not really interested into Hecate(never really feeling attracted to greek gods and goddess because of my feminism. I had a rejection of greek mythology full of violences against women). But looking your videos im feeling like everything you said about her resonate with me. I have a little question there. In this video you explain that the hekate's children do something in her name. For now im only discovering her, and trying to connect with her energy. When you started to have a relationship with her, did you "work" for her quickly? I'm wondering if it's okay when you start a relationship with her, to just connect with her energy and just learn about her for a little time.
