I’m so sad for Suga…He’s already been disqualified from driving and apologised for his mistake, but continues to be vilified and publicly humiliated. I live in the U.K and here, as in most other countries, the punishment he’s already received would be sufficient, or a fine might’ve been added. l only hope the authorities look at all the positive ways in which Suga has contributed to his country and globally and not take the matter any further, he doesn’t deserve to be jailed! Yeah that's true, I live in Portugal and the rules are similar, our drivers licence goes by points every incident we had we lost points I'm not sure when it comes to driving under alcohol or other substances but we would get disqualified on our driver's license and if we got caught second time the police would take our driver's license and we would be prohibited to drive any motor device for 1 or 2 months...but he already received his punishment by the police law but this haters are like flies on food... if he wasn't a BTS member no one would care about this

This would be a slap on the hand in the USA. Justin Timberlake actually drove a car while drunk and yelled at the police officer who stopped him. As someone in Asia, I can tell you EVERYONE knows you cannot even drink a single *beer*, and then ride a normal *bicycle* home. I am in no way crucifying SUGA, as he is in fact my ultimate bias forever, but I will say he made the stupidest mistake ever and DID know better. But I’ve also made really dumb mistakes when drinking. I’ve gotten on wrong trains, I’ve been unable to find the train station, I’ve made dumb choices. So did SUGA. Now it feels like everyone wants to take him down. Why?? It’s clear he’s having many struggles in his personal life as someone likely doesn’t suddenly drive drunk out of nowhere one night. We should be coming together as a fandom to show him love and support, as ARMY. I highly doubt he will actually face prison time since it’s the first time offense he was caught for, and in Korea money does talk. He will likely get suspended sentence, and I hope he reflects and gets help for any issues he may be facing in his personal life as I just want to see him happy.

I’ve been forced to go to many drinking parties for work and so has my husband. I’ve seen many alcoholics forced to go to drinking parties. They don’t care. It’s part of society here. It’s only been in the last 5-10 year or so that I’ve seen more and more companies roll out various brands of non-alcoholic beers and cocktail can varieties so that people had that option at parties. And again, I’m not in Korea but a neighboring Asian country, so I don’t even know if Korea has that option. Jin reportedly only lives like 10 minutes from him and a newspaper article I read in my country said he was at an eating and drinking bar type establishment. So I imagine he figured maybe something like hey, it’s maybe like a short little ride home. I’m actually disabled and use a cane to get around sometimes, but have had a cab driver COMPLAIN to me about wanting to take a cab home despite the fact that I had a cane, and was in a lot of pain that day and didn’t want to walk the ten minutes home. I cannot imagine what they would say to a healthy bodied man like Yoongi, especially if he didn’t seem completely and absolutely drunk out of his mind. Maybe he even just wanted to not be recognized for who he was and being “that drunk BTS Member”?

He drank, he made a mistake and admitted it. He also didn't hurt anyone but himself, I think that should be taken into account. Why do people keep spreading rumors. There has been no such statements about Suga and prison. You can get as many clicks and views telling about the Journey of BTS of any BTS members of the good that they do not only for fans but all. Even tell about their error in judgments and how they corrected their mistakes. About the actual incident that happened. Do a little more research, get correct information. Possibly even wait for actual statement from Suga or Hybe. Because anytime any BTS member has made a mistake an error in judgement they will come forward and apologize and try to correct their actions.
