Void contract is useless, the chances of getting bloodbloom + contract + destroy enemy kingsbane (50/50) by turn 2 is much lower than the chance of the enemy having kingsbane, shinyfinder or raiding party + prep in his starting hand.

But you can still reduce the cards in your enemies' deck which speeds up the turn you can discard Kingsbane without risk (like what's shown on this video at the end).

But I think it's good enough against other combo decks with 4 or more core cards. For a Kingsbane match-up, it could help to reduce some buffs from the deck and pull the rogue more closed to fatigue, and make gromeferatus killing kingsbane from the deck guaranteed earlier.
