BREAKING The SOUND BARRIER With NO POWER Source!

Hey everyone! I guess it's my turn to go SUPERSONIC! :) I decided to not use engines, thrusters, propellers, or any conventional means of propulsion and instead employ the fabled hinge glitch for the purpose of going Mach speed! This was a really exciting challenge and I had an absolute blast doing it so let me know in the comments below what you thought and I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as I enjoyed playing it!

That nuclear fusion announcement is a bit of a farce. They still have to work out how to have persistent energy production without destroying the containment unit. Also the amount of energy derived is a small proportion of the input. The Japanese still have to make their announcement and they are probably a lot more advanced than the US.

If you do this and attach it to an amoured seat on both sides of the hinges,you can get some ludicrous results… I have a clip of me hitting over 58000mph with this glitch

From what I can tell, the system on the ends at the front is what controls the hover effect. Has a distance sensor and maybe a pulse loop angling the front wings up and down really quickly to keep it consistent and everything else is striping weight and aerodynamics.

At the beginning it seems to rotate a lot so I'm wondering if you could use this to create a rotating motor. Using that rotation with propellers would be simple or you can build something more advanced to power some wheels.

I feel like if you tuned the hinges with logic to make the outer ones go off before the inner ones, kind of in a cascading manner, in as small of a time increment as possible, it might be more consistent in going the same direction on both sides

just from seeing this video, and understanding how games' physics work generally, I'm pretty sure having many hinges went slower just because they formed a line long enough so that the outer hinges couldn't glitch any more (making them seem to break apart), so the resulting angle was lower

I haven’t quite finished the video yet, but in trailmakers you’re gonna want to use spoilers for downforce and wings for lift, which is why you flew up so often after adding wings for downforce
