Thor 5 teaser Thor 5 details revealed. Thor 5 will feature Valhalla as a main location which implies that Thor could fight Hercules in Thor 5 and die, in which he would ascend to Valhalla after. I think someone like Christopher Nolan could do a really great job of making the next Thor fillm feel really dark and more serious again becahse he does have a reputation for making those kinds if films and being very successful at it, including the Dark Knight trilogy and Oppenheimer so yeah. Also, I can't wait to see Loki and Thor reunite again at some point, but I don't think it should be until either Avengers 5 or Secret Wars comes out. If Thor is going to be killed off down the line, then he should be the Iron Man of Secret Wars and sacrifice himself to win the fight on Battleworld, that's how would personally do it anyway.

My theory on the connection between Thor 5 and the Loki TV series is when you see Loki take his throne at the end of time you see the gold rising up to build his new throne. I believe that gold is the same gold life force in which the gods evaporate into because energy isn't just destroyed it only transferred into something else. So I believe Valhalla actually powers Loki's throne chair which in turn Powers Loki which give him the ability to create more realities providing more God life force when you get sense into Valhalla thereby starting the process over and over again. Just like the celestials seating planet with intelligent life form which will eventually be destroyed which would give birth to a new celestial who in turn would create a new sun that provide life for new Universes. So if my theory is correct and the Greek God gods will invade Valhalla and destroy it. Which Loki what lose the extra God juice that gave him the abilities to holding the world tree together. Causing a new Ragnarok across the multiverse. So Thor would dies then all of the gods how survive the slaughter of Valhalla would give Thor all their god power to turn Thor into the ruin King thor then he uses his new power to bring back Jane Foster back to life as his emissary similar to moon knight and khonshu.

If golden "god blood" is around Loki's throne, how did it get there? Was there perhaps another god who used to sit there like Loki, holding the multiverse, and then someone (Kang?) came and killed him? I wonder why would the Greek gods bother destroying Valhalla and killing it's inhabitants? Valhalla in the MCU is a place where Asgardians (and their associates) end up after their death. If they're already dead, why kill them again? Is it even possible to kill those who already are dead? (And if they die in Valhalla, is there some Valhalla 2.0, where those who died in Valhalla end up?) How would the Greek gods even get into Valhalla in order to invade and destroy it? Even Asgardians can only get into Valhalla by dying. But if the Greek gods die, surely they end up somewhere else, not in Valhalla (different religion).

I honestly hope none of that happens, at least not in the way you are describing. You are citing the Ragnarok story from Michael Oeming, which I red years ago and thought it was dreadful. But I know there are plenty of Thor readers (probably younger than me) that love it and keep citing Rune King Thor with excitement. I find this story dreadful because I'm old enough to have read the Ragnarok by Stan Lee and John Buscema first in the early 70's and compare. Also Thor should not die from a battle with Hercules when he should be stronger as it was established back in the 70s when he would belt Mjolnir and fight Hercules and be able to albeit with effort claim victory. If Thor is going to die it should be battling the Midgard Serpent as Thor 200 from the 70s beautifully illustrates masterfully by the Michelangelo of comics Big John Buscema. Still I don't see the reason a character like Thor which is immortal should die, and I keep reading people saying Chris Hemsworth wants to retire Thor but when its time for Hemsworth to answer the question he has always said he will play the character as long as people want him. Until the creative stops using the latest material for these characters and start using the first decades of publishing history, these movies won't get any better. There is plenty of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee Thor characters, ideas and concepts that haven't been touched, it just saddens me that creators keep using more recent and IMHO inferior ideas, characters and plots instead of giving the value worth to the real historical seed of these characters. Thor right now is missing his entire Jack Kirby DNA because the movies annihilated it and that is a big shame.

If it were up to me I would call Thor’s 5th movie The resurrection of Asgard where Thor manages to resurrect Asgard and all the Asgardians who died including Thor’s parents and his girlfriend. I think, this could happen. There are 3 candidates, for a dark movie. Black winter (Multiverse) - (The best option, since it has to do with the world tree, galactus, and the fact that Loki is now the keepers of the multiverse, he could meet Dark Thor. Everything will be the other way around, if before Thor Odinson did not trust Loki, now Loki will see a threat in the face of Dark Thor (Black Winter) Lurking Unknown (Fear Lords) - (Only if the film is released in 7-phase. Until then, we also need a separate Hercules project.) Cul Borson (Serpent) - (Another Asgardian, he was the older brother of Odin, and quite a key figure in the history of Thor and the event War of the Realms - which it seems to me is closer now than ever before in MCU)

A second possibility is that one of the story arcs will be Jane in Valhalla. If she stays true to her character, Jane will not want to stay in Valhalla. She will place a higher premium on coming back to help people. Heimdell could be willing to help her. It does not have to be dead serious. There is a happy medium where you can be entertaining without being silly.

Thor, Is like my top 2 favorite Avenger. So I'm looking forward to this. i think if Thor 5 happens after secret wars, then yes, Thor should die. He should not die before secret wars, tho. I think Thor 5 should have had Thor vs. Hercules and then thor & Hercules vs. gorr. And for it to be dark. I do really hope we get a reunited loki & thor as well. I've been waiting for Hercules to enter the MCU full force since Thor: Love and Thunder so this is GREAT news for me. It would be interesting to see Thor and Valhalla in play as well. I still think Hercules would be a great asset for a new Cosmic Avengers team in Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars, once he and Thor get past their differences. Rune King Thor would also be an interesting angle to see Thor go through yet another heroic transformation and "leveling up". Woof Woof!

Well the nice part about the soft reboot after secret wars is that secret Wars itself will feature heroes fighting heroes from other dimensions, and the beyonder, both rather OP, and after that we get a new universe, so introducing to op characters isnt that problematic, because there can be exactly as strong characters in Secret wars (if not stronger) and after that there are new heroes anyways...

I want the Fear Itself storyline from the comics to be adapted to Thor 5! Thor will still have to die because that's the only way they can beat the Serpent/Cul and instead of the Avengers helping Thor, it will be other gods like Hercules and Ares!

Yeah at the end of the movie Thor should just die and the movie should like just show branching timelines in the background of where Hercules kills him. Then in the pre or mid credits scene, it should show Thor appearing in Valhalla and him seeing everybody like Heimdall, Odin, Jane, and the 3 musketeers or whatever they’re called. Then in the post credits scene, it should show Heimdall being like “Something’s happening”, and then Thor should then be teleported to the destroyed Kang temple and as he’s looking around it he should hear “Hello brother” from Loki and then the movie goes to the rest of the credits. Perfect ending.

If Thor 5 takes place partially in Valhalla, then the Loki we'll be getting isn't the one from the Loki series but the one from the movies, who was killed by Thanos. Would be weird if Thor ended up in the realm of the dead and didn't meet his dead brother there... Sadly, he can't meet Volstagg in Valhalla, as the actor is already deceased.

I think it’s time to bring in Beta Ray Bill. And you can do that by telling the best of all Thor stories, The Surtur Saga. In that storyline, Odin and Loki join Thor to take on the greatest of all threats, Surtur!! One, who wouldn’t love to see that family team up! Two, this would obviously require Loki be removed from Yggdrasil, so they’ll have to progress the Multiverse story in some way. Three, Beta Ray Bill is part of this team up in the comics. So this is perfect timing to say goodbye to Thor and then add Beta Ray Bill to Phase 6 and beyond. Four, Surtur is such a formidable foe that you could easily have the Thor vs Hercules battle early on, let them become friends which they do in the comics, then add Hercules to the team to defeat Surtur. Hercules could also be a great addition to the MCU for Phase 6 and beyond This would be an AMAZING stand alone Thor story that’s very comic accurate, introduces new and characters while phasing Thor out, reunites the Asgardian family, and still progresses the MultiVerse story in preparation for Secret Wars Plus, if you’re gonna have Battleworld, you kinda need Hercules and Beta Ray Bill, along with Thor and Loki

Thor serious doesn’t work, Look at the 1st Thor & the Dark World. Ragnarok worked because it didn’t take itself too seriously & it didn’t go full romantic comedy like Thor Love & Thunder which was still good & made money. One of the few MCU solo films to do so.

Thor love and Thunder was the worst Thor film I've seen I liked the post scene credits with Hercules because I knew it would set up Thor's death so I think it needs to be better than the last 2 Thor films and it's gonna need plenty of emotion for the film if they kill Thor off it needs to better the last few Marvel projects so it needs a great director and I think that should be Kenneth Branagh the man who brought us the first Thor film 🙌🏼🤘🏼

Imagine they do a Logan type movie, no not as dark or realistic obviously, but they actually get a skilled writer to develop Thor and his new daughters relationship so that if he died we are balling our eyes out, and we actually feel something rather then the surface level silly slop that is most mcu writing and especially Thor love and thunder’s half baked pile of crap that was emotional story, they screwed up the cancer story so bad and rushed it, I want a complete tonal shift, make Hercules scary, change everything and make it far more brutal and dangerous of a threat

No, Ragnarok already occurred and Secret Wars isn’t Ragnarok. And Odin & Frigga aren’t in Valhalla you need to die a warriors death to enter Valhalla & they didn’t do that.
