I don't normally get flustered by things, but lying to the police to get them to do your bidding winds me up!!! Join me on a visit to NOVOTEL Newcastle Airport (Hostel at Taxpayers Expense). These are no longer hotels. They are immigrant centres. Commandeered by the government then converted. I wonder who agreed this from the hotel company side? Or have they been sold to the government. Were the former hotels failing prior to being converted? I gather they have rooms filled with bunk beds and fixed menus. Not exactly hotel standards to be fair.but to stoke devision the government used hotels instead of disused buuildings. Lots of shady aspects to this.

The coppers should have used due diligence and called the tower before they came out to you and waste your time. Its revolting that your time is wasted and they dont care. You are not there to teach them the law. Its for them to investigate. He lied too. This call out wasnt about the drone, it was to get to you because of what the hotel is doing. Then they tried to glean your info. I personally wouldn't have told them a thing. They should call the tower. Its up to them to investigate and NOT restrict your movement until they know for sure that you are guilty of an action. Id personally let them arrest me. his is the ONLY way that they will learn. Edit... I also would treat the coppers with contempt. Be as rude as I can. This too is a way of teaching them not to mess with the innocent. They came to you, they were called erroneously and they in turn will teach the hotel staff a lesson.

oooooooooooooohhhhhhh,, @14:05 asking questions of incident hence @17:52 log number (CAD) PACE procedure is as soon as a crime or incident has "occurred" a "caution" must be announced before questions asked (code C10.1) and must be told that person must at the same time be told they are not under arrest (code C10.2) then IF on arrest must be "cautioned " (code C10.4 privilege's ) and @20:18 there are 8 principles under DPA 1998 section 2, Principle 1 Ensure that officers are: - aware that people included in a BWV recording are entitled to obtain a copy via a subject access request (SAR) - able to explain the process for obtaining a cop = (page 8 college of policing) which @20:18 does not state on BWV how to get a copy of SAR 🤷‍♂ which also requires consent = PACE 1984 , section 64A, Photographing of suspects etc. (1A) photographed elsewhere than at a police station- (a) with the appropriate consent; if PC has informed you and not contested then consent has been agreed , but failing BWV is no NOT OVERT , therefore it is covert operations (with permission of superintendent) with BWV and does not come under DPA1998 it comes under RIPA 2000 but I must admire their manner of conduct is brilliant is 👌 Edit:- @14:42 Suspicion is a state of "conjecture or surmise" where proof is lacking "" meaning suspicion is a state of mind well short of "belief" when investigation begins with the premise of belief that investigation is now flawed eg "operation midlands"

All uk police forces have agreed to and contributed to a BWC (body worn camera) policy due to their legal obligation to follow Data Protection. There is a document available that lists all police forces and law enforcement agencies that have agreed to this policy.

On the subject on police detainment, as I’ve heard you asking the police if you are detained on a couple of videos. Unless you are being arrested or they are exercising statutorily defined stop-and-search powers, the Police are not allowed to detain you whilst deciding whether to arrest you or not. That’s not to say they won’t try it on though. Don’t take my word for it, check legislation yourself. We don’t want to get bunged in the back of the Black Maria do we.
