This is not special treatment because the Judge can only do what the law specifies. He has said jail if you violate again. I do not believe this Judge is one to mess with, he is in control which is about 99.999% of trumps attitude problem. He thinks he is better than all of us and is too special to follow all our laws. The real point is that they're taking it slow and one step at a time and letting him blow through his chances. He keeps claiming it's unfair, it's a sham trial, and the judge is biased against him. This slow but soft way is sort of the judge's way to really point out that he's not trying to be biased against Donald Trump. It's painful and slow, but this just continues to show the jury, that beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Trump really is as terrible as the prosecution is trying to make him out to be. Especially since he has been given such special treatment. Just to show that the things Trump says outside of the courtroom after each trial day is really just a bunch of delusional BS that he's trying to push to his followers.

But being uber-cautious is the best insurance against some technicality Trump will try to bring up on appeal by claiming the judge wasn't fair or didn't give him reasonable chances to correct, etc. etc. etc.. All the judges are bending over backwards to avoid that. (And, of course, Aileen Cannon doesn't have to worry about that because she's tilting the scales in his favor at every juncture.) As frustrating as it is to see Mango Mussolini skating by past consequences that everyone else would be subject to, in the end it will be far better than seeing him win on appeal. Judge Chutkan should revoke his pretrial release. This solves so many problems: He can still attend his New York trial but stay in federal custody the rest of the time. That could be until Chutkan's federal trial is finished. He would be forced to stop attacking all of his different trial processes. If his DC trial is delayed until 2025, then so be it. He sits in jail until that trial is over. This would light a fire under the Supreme Court to stop their stall tactics.
