Seriously Brian, why are you and everyone else ignoring the elephant in the room? This is what will happen. Trump will lose the election, challenge the results in the Supreme Court, or ask them to stop the counting due to "fraud", a la, George W, and the Supreme Court will agree and award Trump the winner regardless of the result. I can't believe that none of you are addressing this issue! Biden should immediately detain Trump, freeze his assets and disband the blatantly and obviously corrupt Supreme Court justices. Using their own riling against them. Otherwise, democracy around the globe is finished. We all know that Trump will do it if he gets power, which the Supreme Court will grant iim regardless of the election result. It's time to fight fire with fire, not marshmallows as the Democrats are currently doing.

@@debmye6959 No, he doesn't. Justices can be impeached and removed - an action of the house and senate. And that won't happen because the democrats don't have the numbers. This is why voting isn't optional. Sadly, this tracks back to the people. Almost half of us never vote. About 90% of us ignore primaries. Those who do vote, do it once every two or four years. That's all.

The US has a huge problem with how it's judges are appointed and there is no easy fix as the most reasonable method is to let judges decide amongst themselves who is the most qualified to move forward but in the current climate that would be INCREDIBLY political (MAGA judges only willing to appoint MAGA for example).

It's also well known and established in the American Bar Association. Also the founders of our Constitution made clear, no one is above the law. Exactly my thought. More precisely, he was not president at the time of the alleged criminal conduct. The Supreme Court's decision only applied to sitting presidents, not presidential candidates who later because president AFTER their alleged criminal conduct occurred. What if the Supreme Court ends up being a rubber stamp for whatever Trump wants and Project 2025. If the Supreme Court has the final say on what the law means, they can overrule the legislature by ruling (by majority) on a twisted interpretation of the law.
