I went back to rewatch that deep pass over and over in end zone for Pitt and we had three guys right next to him and it fell into his hands. Guys were there but they just didn’t make the interception or bare minimum bat the ball down. It looked like the Houston Hail Mary last year. I can blame Neal for that which I have but that receiver wasn’t wide open we just didn’t make the play. End of day guys need to make plays if they are right there. Onward to Kansas!!

We Penn St fans have experienced many of the same issues. NB is clearly in self preservation mode. I have supported him, but when you lose to the same characters every time and deflect by firing those who don’t have the ultimate accountability factor in any capacity - it’s time to break out the mirror and take a long introspective gaze!

Two years ago, WVU was winning late in the 4th quarter against Pitt until that unexpected pick-off that led to a Panther TD and WVU loss. This year, despite a double-digit lead with 5 minutes left, we came up short again. But for a holding call, on Clement's reception, WVU may had a different outcome.

Please stop saying that people want WVU to lose so that Neal Brown will be fired. That's not true. WVU fans see that changes are needed, and if short-term losses are required to get those changes, then so be it. But nobody wants WVU to lose. Granted, we may not have freaking Georgia's secondary but there is talent back there. If Lesley would stop running his stupid ass prevent package every time we get up by few points and give his players a legitimate opportunity to win the game, we may not be having this conversation right now.

Baker was brought in to fix football and he's unable to do it, next WVU president will fire him. Wren baker has been a big disappointment. If West Virginia doesn't have the money to buy him out that's what banks are made for. There is no way the math adds up that by keeping Brown you make money. Just going to push the fan base away after you piss them off.

Biggest change should be scrap 3 man D line go to standard 4 man line. Biggest chsnge on offense should be forget bubble screens we dont tblick an they dont work enough also dont run up middle on a loaded box. Thats the changes needed. We have athletes though cosches can make it hard on them.

This is what I look at when I look at these coaches . Let’s go in order . This is bowl record . All that matters at WVU . How our fans don’t understand . It’s proof , so prove me wrong . Don nehlen 21 seasons , bowl record 4-12 . Rich rod 7 seasons at WVU , bowl record 2-3 . Bill stewart 3 seasons , bowl record 2-2 (interm ou game). Dana holgorsen 8 seasons , bowl record 2-5 . Neal brown 5 seasons before this year , bowl record , 2-1 , If brown goes somehow 8-4 and wins the bowl game he jumps everyone to #2 in bowl wins behind only don nehlen who was 4-12. Don nehlen and rich rod did put us on the map and made us relevant, but brown could have back to back 9 win seasons for the first time since the times when we won at least 8 games from 2002-2011 . The sad part is I love our team so much and don’t want them to leave so bad that I’m willing to keep brown another year if he makes it to bowl game . Because if he leaves you will watch most of our players leave to another school. It’s football life now

After kansas is a bye week.... it's not ideal to fire a coordinator or coach during the week, and in fact wvu has never done it in program history. Brown won't have a decision made for him until after the season if u ask me.... Lesley....not sure, but it feels a bit more possible.

I do hope this team gels fast...The talent is there...I have been a NB supporter but we are approaching point of no return territory ,even with a winning record and bowl win....I gauge a coach by progress. I believe NB is a good man...I'm used to WVU having everyone's attention for being tough win or lose?....Winning cures everything and anything less is unacceptable year 6....He's running out of gas!

Football coaches are supposed to embody the accountability they demand from their staff and players. Brown passes the buck. He's using a bad scheme that will not work with our personnel on both sides of the ball. Stop demanding that Garrett stand in the pocket like a statue. Bootleg and RPO schemes take advantage of Greene's talents when passing the ball. We need to run some speed option plays. All of our option plays this season have been based on the handoff, not the pitch. Change it and we might win. We need to be running cover 6 and cover 9 zones instead of man coverages. Fans are tired of having to explain these things to a guy who makes millions a year. Support is going to decline until results change. You can't blame fans and supporters for using the only tool they have to demand change when a recalcitrant athletic department refuses to make the change needed to improve the odds of success. Brown has to go. He's not cut out for this job.

I don't think anyone should support anything West Virginia University until Brown is fired. Let them choose buy him out or lose the fans until we have a new coach. This has went on way too long and he should have never got that contract extension this is embarrassing and West Virginia is dead last in the Big 12 with Kansas. A lot of us fans wanted West Virginia in the SEC, not no more we would get destroyed. I don't even know if we belong in the Big 12 at this point. It's completely embarrassing. You are right. My last game was the Penn State game. Neal Brown should have been canned with Shane Lyons. Later year's record was far more generous than the actual performance. Brown doesn't fire assistants nor bench qbs. He is a qb killer. Every qb gets worse, not better, under Neal Brown.

I believe we will beat Kansas, Baylor, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, UCF. I don't think we battle for a conference championship, but it's why you play the games. The team could get hot and win 7 or 8 and I wouldn't be shocked. But coach Brown to date has not shown an abliity to win against good teams. That's fact not hate. We are 32 - 31 under Brown, and so far, we look like our record. I'm not convinced we can run a successful power 4 football program at WVU anymore.
