They have like 30 different genres. We're just sending you on the rap path. Their title tracks are usually rap heavy, like the songs you listened to, their other songs are very different from one another. They have rock, vocal, techno, EDM, Pop and way more other genres. If you want a more vocal song, but still in signature Stray Kids style, you should try Levanter.

The three members of 3Racha, (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) the official producing unit of Stray Kids (SKZ) has been writing music since before the official debut of the group, when they were just teenagers. After the release of God's Menu, a song about how their discography has something for everyone, they were acknowledged as a new sub-genre called mala taste after a popular spicy Chinese soup, malatang. 3-Racha's specialty is to take any genre that inspires them and give it their own unique sound. Their song, 3Racha, for example, was Han's wish to try UK Drill. Whenever SKZ releases a new album, they release a companion Intro Video, in which they talk about each song, the inspiration and meaning, etc. I always find those videos, which often include clips about recording sessions and dance practices, very fascinating. About Bounce Back, Han stated that he wrote it a long time ago and had some interesting comments about the lyrics. Stray Kids renewed their contract, which was expiring this year, for another five years. One of the reasons they mentioned was that they desire to try many more genres they haven't tried before. I, for one, can't wait to see what else they have to wow us with!
@livi17672 күн бұрын
You should listen to their songs Phobia and Neverending Story as well as their newest album. My favorite thing about Stray Kids is that they can do everything. Each member can rap, sing, and dance. They're all aces, their covers are also beautiful. They performed I'll be your man on kingdom one time and I still go back to watch that cover often. They don't only release songs in Korean either. They release songs in English and Japanese as well. They made a song for the Deadpool and Wolverine movie called Slash and they have made songs for different animes as well. Their songs span across many different genres too. They released a rock(ish) album last year and in November they released a hip hop album. You should definitely check out more of their stuff!
@shika0772 күн бұрын
Yeah, they have a lot of songs where they sing, but even in like singing songs, you will find some slow rap. For example there is leave,cover me, waiting for us(only four members sing on this song),gone away(3 members only),sorry I love you,silent cry, secret secret and more. They cover alot of genres for example this album hop is like 90s hip hop the album bevor ATE is more like latin vibes, there album rock-star is rock so there is something for everyone but you have to consider that the title tracks of the albums are the most specific of the genre they are covering for example lalalala(there is also an rock version of it) is the most rock-roll song in the rock star album so there are some songs in the album that aren't rock-roll. If you want to listen to some "singing" or sad songs I would suggest silent cry, gone away, leave,cover me. If you want to listen to rock-roll then LALALALA is an good option. If you like latin music then chk chk boom and if you want to stick to what you are currently listening to then I would consider MEGAVERSE,topline,muddy water,item,hall of fame and slash as good options. And if you want to try like Stray kids style songs then there is God's menu, Backdoor,S-class, Thunderous, Maniac,Circus,Miroh,district 9,venom,super bowl and victory song. There are alot more but these are the songs that I could think of hope that helped!
@STAY.IKNOWYOUKNOWWEKNOW...2 күн бұрын
Great breakdown! I'd like to add " another day" as a softer song to listen to, "Cheese" as a hype and fun, dis- song, and "awkward silence"...as a totally cheesy, upbeat song. They have everything. Just ask the Stays for a genre and Stray kids will probably have a song with it in.

They have created their own genre, mala, which refers to hot food. Many in Corea think they are to loud. They often use sirens or horns to make their beats. This song is one of my favourites on this album. The one who claps his hands and tell them to continue is Bang Chan who is SKZ leader and main producer. No one in the industry work as hard as these guys.
@rosemarycheekers36422 күн бұрын
Thanks for the reaction! So to answer your question, 3racha the producing unit of the group started out in the rap/hiphop scene in Korea before the group was fully formed. So they have a lot of influences from Korean hip hop and korean rappers (like Tiger JK and Tablo). But the group has become known in Korea as a newer sub-genre of music within kpop called "salatang pop" which loosely means "a little bit of everything" because of how much they change their sound from track to track. They have everything in their discography from rap to pop to metal to edm to ballads. My personal favorite ballad song from them is Phobia because the vocals are very impressive. And if you like more laid back vocals then I'd also recommend Cover Me or Collision. Thanks for taking so much interest in this group! They've been a fav of mine for a while so I'm happy people are discovering them bit by bit.

Straykids as a group cover all bases of the music genres with atleast one of a different style to the rest per album. We’ve led you down the route of the more rap-like ones however if you want songs with completely different vibes I’d suggest ‘unfair’, ‘youtiful’, ‘miroh’, and ‘cover me’. Recently they’ve released an album called HOP which has tracks with a hip-hop style (eg the one you just reacted to) but also each member came out with a solo song along with a music video per solo (names: railway - bangchan, youth - leeknow, ultra - changbin, so good - Hyunjin, hold my hand - Han, unfair - Felix, as we are - seungmin, hallucination - I.N)!! They each have a slightly different vibe so if you want to get deeper into the personal styles of each member I’d suggest those!! Hope this helps 😋

half of the members are singers and the other half are rappers, even though they can all do both. so yeah they have lots of vocal based, and even ballad like songs. they also have lots where they merge them, eg neverending story, voices, cover me, and so many more. one of the main rappers han is also pretty much a main singer too, so when do do eventually listen to more vocal songs watch out for that because its so cool how he can just go back and forth seamlessly. i think most people who get into stray kids listen to their rap stuff first then slowly start listening to vocal songs too, either way they have music that suits everyone's taste (even a song about that called god's menu)

7:05 Their main genre can be combined mainly as rap, rock, edm and hip hop I’d say. They do have songs with more pop sounds or ballads and r&b kind of styles too. But yeah they’re strong when it comes to rap and they’ve already shown various styles of sounds and ways of rapping in many of their songs. My suggestion for the next one is Maze of Memories.

Stray Kids do everything. Their defining characteristic is that they do not ever stick to one genre - their main passion is music and they want to try everything. No matter what sort of music you like, you will always find at least one song among their discography that is perfect for you. A really abridged version of their story is that Bang Chan (Chris) was a trainee at JYP Entertainment for 7 years. He watched all of his friends either debut ahead of him or be cut from the program. But he is honestly an insanely talented musician and performer, and unlike any other time in KPOP, the company trusted him and his musical and leadership abilities so much that they let him choose the members of his own group. It started with him, Han and Changbin who became 3RACHA (they started creating their own music together as an underground rap trio and posted music under the name 3RACHA on Soundcloud against company rules). Since they were the core beginning of the group and Bang Chan is a very supportive and encouraging leader, all the rest of the guys have over time started to delve into the song creation and production aspect of music as well. At the time i am writing this, the group has the following registered song credits to their name since 2018: Bang Chan - 204, Changbin - 175, Han - 167, Hyunjin - 28, Felix - 24, Seungmin - 22, I.N - 22, Lee Know - 18. As a fandom in general we take a lot of pride and interest in the behind the scenes and production aspect of what they do simply because it is so obviously their passion.

Their 'signature songs' are Hellavator, Miroh, Gods Menu, Haven, S-class but really theres soooo sooo much and a big bank of solowork and subunit work. If you want a vibe change try something like Cover Me, Waiting For Us, FnF, Butterlies, Scars, Time Out, Mixtape: OH, Gone Away, Star Lost, Secret Secret... It just keeps going on. They dont have a set vibe - some class them as noise music? They deliberately mix genres and styles so good luck defining them 😂.

They actually have a very diverse discography! What you're getting recommended is their rap stuff, but just know that there's a chance you'll go in expecting hiphop and it'll actually be r&b, pop, etc. Here are some songs i'd recommend based on genre (though they tend to blend genres a lot haha): HipHop/Rap: Walking on Water (their most recent song), Muddy Water(unit song by the rappers), TOPLINE Rock: LALALALA, District 9, Social Path, Mountains Dubstep/Experimental: Freeze, MEGAVERSE, Get Lit, Side Effects EDM: Domino, Boxer, Give Me Your TMI R&B: Leave, Collision, Taste (Unit song by Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix), CHILL Pop/Upbeat: I Like It, Mixtape: OH, Astronaut, Blueprint Ballad: Cover Me, Ex, Lonely St., Gone Away (Unit song by Han, Seungmin, I.N), 19 Trap: Venom, Easy, We Go (Unit song by 3Racha) Sountracks: Come Play from Arcane, SLASH from Deadpool&Wolverine, Hello Stranger Some of these might not be completely accurate, and barely scratches the surface of their music, but its a good start. Also don't feel pressured to react to everything, these are just some suggestions!

Great video! My favorite thing about Stray Kids is the variety in their discography. They have something for everyone, and as someone who's always listening to different genres, that's what drew me to them. They have a HUGE discography and probably have done every genre out there. If one day you want to delve into something different from Stray Kids (which I heavily recommend), like love songs/ballads/pop songs here's a few recommendations to get you started on. Most of these songs have music videos, check to see if it comes from either Stray Kids official YT account or JYP Entertainment. The more recent ones (from the last 2 years or so): - U (feat Tablo) - Twilight - Cover Me - Leave (I recommend watching the Stage Video, there's no MV for this one) But the best ones in my opinion are oldies (from 2018 - 2022): - #LoveSTAY (song about their fans, called "STAY") - Streetlight (a solo song that is mostly rap but on the more emotional side) - Scars (Japanese song, a bit underrated) - Sorry, I Love You - Secret Secret - Mixtape : OH - Ex - Chronosaurus The quirky side of Stray Kids (that unfortunately disappeared a bit over the years): - N/S - Case 143 - My Pace - Get Cool - Awkward Silence Also, the sexy side of Stray Kids hehe (these are all solo or unit songs): - Red Lights - Taste - Railway (recent, from new album) - Hallucination (also from new album) Can't wait to see you go down the Stray Kids rabbit hole :D

I would say stray kids typical genre is mostly seen in their title tracks, those are the promoted songs so they tend to fit a mold a little more, one they made for themselves but still. That genre is a bit less technical in the rap with a lot of trap/electronic genre influence. God's menu is probably the definer for their title track genre, they have started to get away from that more recently with chk chk boom and walking on water but for a good ~6 ep/albums that was the genre they were known for. Now their non promoted tracks are a different story, those have always been all over the place about a 60-40 split between loud and softer music. They tend towards various electronic, rap, and rock genres though. They've done everything from psy trance to bossa nova to hard rock to ballads etc. Loud recs: i got it (han), megaverse, mountains Vocal recs: cover me, levanter, voices Edit: Ill also note that since they write their music their songs were defined by the point in their career they were written and some of their songs especially some of the older ones have a lot of meaning in them so definitely listen with lyrics like you have been. A few recs would be social path (ft. LiSA), my pace, side effects
@sekicharatКүн бұрын
Most say that Stray Kids is it's own genre since they don't 'fit' anywhere. If you like Felix's voice, he's featured in the new Solo Leveling anime intro 'ReawakeR' with Japanese singer LiSA. If you want a mix of some of their more typical stuff try Freeze Venom Megaverse Get Lit Jjam or earlier songs like Miroh Easy Victory Song Double Knot They've tried a few different things this year that they haven't explored before, like Come Play - collab with Tom Morello Falling Up - actually debuted on the iTunes Metal chart Chk Chk Boom - reggaeton beats with some Spanish thrown in

So they‘re rap focused BUT they cover a variety of different genres. There isn’t a song without any rap parts since there are members focused on RAP : HAN, CHANGBIN, FELIX, HYUNJIN Members focused on VOCALS: HAN, SEUNGMIN, BANGCHAN, I.N, LEE KNOW Han is arguably the best rapper in Stray Kids (Skz) and the 2nd best vocalist so he actually does both a lot. They also have SUBUNITS: 3RACHA : BANGCHAN, CHANGBIN, HAN. They formed way before Skz as trainees and produced and uploaded their songs to SoundCloud. Some songs are masterpieces and others are quite funny like (Wow (3Racha)) cause they were 15-17 back then in 2016. They now are the PRODUCING UNIT, so these 3 write and produce every single Skz song. DANCE RACHA: LEE KNOW, HYUNJIN, FELIX They‘re the main dancers so they’re focused on dance, Lee Know for example leads dance practices etc. VOCALS RACHA: SEUNGMIN, I.N They’re focused on vocals and mostly sing in their songs.

SKZ covers a lot of genre, we brought you to the rap path. If you want vocal based, we suggest Cover Me, Leave, Sunshine, Mixtape:OH, Levanter, there's a lot actually. They're b-side tracks are beautiful. Also, for more rap-based: Megaverse, Item, Topline, Slash

I recommend checking out a guide to stray kids. They can be long, but you'd get to know more about them

3RACHA (the producers of the group) try to experiment with a new genre each comeback, so it's hard to put a label on them. People tend to say phonk, rock, pop, electric, goth. "God's menu" and "Side Effects" is your best shot to see all their colors in one song ☆

the whistle wasn't part of the song but bang chan added it last minute so THANKS A LOT CHAN!!!

yes, we brought you down the rap route. They have a bunch of different sounds and it's impossible to box them in one genre. You can find all kinds of music in their discography tbh.

If you're going down the rabbit hole .... as we all have 😂 Top Line (feat. Tiger JK, legendary rapper) Easy (laid back style and amazing rapping) Gods Menu (SKZ big worldwide break through) Freeze (dubstep) Venom Thunderous Slash (The OST from Deadpool & Wolverine) Megaverse Cheese A specifique genre is not for SKZ, their genius and creative minds work differently. That's why we love them.

Felix is really the main character with his voice, especially when you look at his looks! You should listen to "Victory Song" if you like his voice. If you wanna hear them singing, maybe go with "Cover me"

People say (including experts) that Stray Kids have their own genre. They like to experiment ALOT so cover all genres and mix several genres together in one song. People have recommended the more rap heavy songs to you.

I've truly been enjoying your reactions to the SKZ. Thank you! Stray Kids's 3racha, made up of BangChan aka Chani aka Christopher (our fearless group Leader and beat creator) Seo Changbin, and Han Jisung are the groups main writers and producers. From the beginning their creations were different from the mainstream Kpop industry. Their music ( as other Stay - our fandom name) have stated below has blended all musical genre into their own spicey flavor. And yes, they do more then rap, in fact all the member create songs as well in their own styles,. Check out their latest solo efforts on their Hop album. Their discography is large, approaching 300 sogs. Some of their amazing vocal efforts can be found in songs like, 'Another Day' , ' Sorry I Love You', 'Cover Me', 'Lose My Breath'(Stray Kids version) and there are many more. Dare say you'll enjoy the trip down this musical rabbit hole!

you have been lead down the rap genre, as requested, and there is still a very long way to go still but as for nonrap i really love cover me, limbo, miss you, star and rain drops, and deep end (those last four being solos) and i’m also really loving leave atm. a more pop sounding rec could be star lost. i really hope you’ll keep listening bc they really do deserve the hype they get and are deserving of so much more

they did an OST for deadpool and wolverine! it's called "SLASH" and i think you'd like it ^^

So in short, Straykids don't have one genre. Their music is simply just the 'Straykids genre'. They are called Straykids because they want to stray away from how the norm and create their own sound.

These recommendations have been very rap heavy, they do everything, but there's almost always some rapping involved. If you wanna go toward their more well known releases I would recommend "Gods Menu" (that shit goes hard)
