I grew up in the Baptist church, but I just got back from my interview for RCIA. I teared up watching you taking your vows. You are an inspiration sir and I pray our Father continues to use you and your ministry to reach the world for Christ. God Bless you!

I was ordained on 29 August 2004. All I can remember was weeping uncontrollably, so much so that a fellow Priest had to quickly find me a handkerchief to dry my eyes. Watching this ceremony brought back especially fond memories. Thank you for posting it.

When you mentioned that people getting married should greet their guests and forget that “you can’t see each other” bs I literally screamed “say it louder for the people in the back!!!” I really don’t like that stupid tradition. My MIL has been adamant about this, and I just don’t agree.

So, I don’t know what’s happening with me religiously, but I feel drawn to god and I’m trying to push him away, it’s not my belief system i am pagan. But he gently he keeps reminding me he’s there. Watching this made me cry, it stirred something in me that I simply can’t explain. Congratulations Father, you are a bright light.
