I love that you made this video, and congrats. Will you be in 2025? I will be there. Question on climbing up those big rocks: Did you do any specific training for that?

I’d love to run it again in 2025, yea! I’m local so to train I just ran the course in part or in full in the time before the race. If you can I’d try to get some time on a trail with a steep grade, like close to 1000ft over a mile. That will get you familiar enough with a slower climb and recovery mid race.

I’ll say .. trail kickin is the best ! The after party for the Leathermans Loop is like a tailgate. The after party for the Paine to Pain Trail Half is a total blast ! Congratulations on finishing a very technical and tough race !

Awesome recap and great job! I was on the long waitlist for this....I would like to do it next year. (I did my own trail run yesterday from Manitou to Garrison via Anthonys Nose, Canada Hill, Sugarloaf to avoid FOMO as much as possible)

I would definitely say keep trying. I’ll admit the first thing I though after running was, “this thing is going to fill up now” in the future. Guess it already does! I’ll have to make sure I’m in early and hope you can do the same!
