Chocolate Mug Cake in 1 Minute

Mug cake recipe • This is the best eggless microwave mug cake I've ever made (at least of all the microwave cake I've tried so far and I've tried a lot)! With this recipe you'll get perfect, smooth, soft, decadent chocolate cake every time.
I recommend adding a chunky piece of dark chocolate/chocolate chips to get an oozy centre for a chocolate lava cake experience.
I hope you try and enjoy this recipe as much as I did!
Ingredients:
1.5 tbsp butter (salted/unsalted)
2 tbsp white/brown sugar
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt (skip if using salted butter)
Dark chocolate chunk
Tips:
• Adding cocoa powder to hot melted butter enhances the chocolate flavor
• All other ingredients need to be in room temperature so the butter doesn't clump
•1 minute on 1000 Watt Microwave
•1 minute 15 seconds on 800 Watt Microwave

Oh my gosh!! After all the times I have tried to make this with other KZbin videos from different channels and all the failed attempts, I finally found a way to make an amazing late night snack. I also used chocolate and melted about 2 table spoons of chocolate morseuls with my butter because I didn’t have coco powder. Definitely recommended!!

19 year old home alone that doesnt know how to cook here. This absolutely worked and it was so good. I put it on for another 30 seconds though because it was a bit too soft for me. Plus, I used self raising flower instead of all purpose and it worked all the same (no need for baking powder)

I made this mug cake a couple months to a year ago, and it turned out down right awful. I just recently made this an hour ago and it turned out to be the best mug cake recipe I have ever made! The cake is rich, heavy, and so delicious. I used light brown sugar instead of white sugar, I dont know how different it would've been. I used 4tbsp of milk instead of 3tbsp, 3 wouldn't have been enough for me since my mixture did come out on the thicker side. The cake was about twice the size after baking. I also added vanilla frosting ontop while it was warm, the frosting melted and it turned out to be way better! 9/10 will make again.

I just made it. Normally I follow recipes very strictly, esp the first time, but I didn't have some of the ingredients handy. So I substituted vegetable oil for butter, and I had no cocoa, so had to use some Starbucks hot chocolate mix, reduced sugar to 1 Tbsp. Also added a teaspoon of instant coffee and a bit of chocolate nibs I've had forever. Excellent! The texture! The flavor! I've tried a couple of other recipes for chocolate mug cake and this is the best! Next time I will use ingredients as you've provided. It'll be better! Now, I wish you could provide the title of the background music. Beautiful!!

I was craving chocolate and omg this actually THE BEST!!! I made it and it was really fluffy and not too sweet (for me) it also doesn't go all rubbery when it cools like other recipes and stays soft and fluffy after it cools! I made a chocolate butter cream to go with it on top and it was really good. very nice! 10/10 would make again 😋👌

1.5 tablespoon of butter microwave 30 sec 2 table spoon cocoa powder mix until no lumps r left 2 tablespoon white/brown sugar mix 3 tablespoon milk mix well 3 tablespoon all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt ( DONT do it if you’ve salted butter) mix add a chunk of dark chocolate ( optional ) microwave for 1 min ! enjoyyyy

As a judgmental person with a strong bond with food i can tell you that It was good, just next time i'll use less of cacao and less of salt, because the taste of it was kind of strong. It didn't really come out like the thumbnail, but i'll definitely try again! (maybe with less of cacao powder less of salt and more milk) but anyways it was a nice mug cake :) ⭐⭐⭐.5 / 5

Yall, I just made this and its literally a fudgey brownie texture. I've made a few modifications tho, i added 1½ in the cocoa powder and 3 tbsp of white sugar instead, and it was perfect for my tatse. Also plz use the tip of adding in the cocoa powder after you've melted the butter it makes a huge difference :)

Mine was bitter too but with almond flour and Splenda. I tried adding more Splenda and using less cocoa, which helped some but not enough. I was going to try this with regular flour, but from reading your comment, I now know the almond flour was not the problem. My guess now is that the baking powder is the problem. Maybe it magnifies the bitterness in the chocolate or something, because I did not have the same bitterness issue with similar recipes without cocoa.
