Russia can claim all the tension it wants ( of course their was tension between all of Russian history and the Western World) but Russia was the one that turned it into a hot war. There is tensions along the Indian-Pakistan border, the North South Korean border, the American-Mexican border hell what border does not have their tensions? But that does not give either party to go to war on their perceived aggreivements.

@@idicula1979 Tensions that were largely instigated by the Russians themselves. Sure there are Russians loyalists in those areas but they're still a minority. And most countries go to the UN with these issues but I never saw Russia try to find some internationally acceptable solution.

He’s a fighter and not afraid of Russia, seek cover for his people. Why are human beings never appreciate what they have until when he’s gone or dead they will then be praising him. I thought at the time that those who fled at the onset of the invasion thought they would be overrun, I would think that the cowards were few in that number and many would return. Are the occupied lands still considered as part of the grid?

I wish that the news people would get over the idea of red lines. You should never lay out what you call red lines, all you are doing is telling someone that they can go so far, and then you have to ether react, or prove that you are weak. It's like telling a child that your going to count to three, all your doing is teaching the child that you can count to three, and that he can do what he want up till then. 06-16-24

With regard to mobolization, all the women aged 17 to 32 should be popping out a new Ukrainian babies every ten to eleven months. Every man should be married to one of those women. If possible he will have got her pregnant at least two or three times before he gets conscripted into the army at age 25. All men still single by aged 24 should have to be married (arranged, if necessary), as should all women by age 20. If men have to give up their bodies for the country, then so should the women be forced to do the same. If she isn't married and making babies leading up to her 20th birthday, then she will have to be in arranged marriage to a soldier. There are plenty of older single males in Ukraines army right now, they should get first dibs at all the women over age 19 and upto age 28 who are not married and having babies right now. I would not be letting any women out of the country, either. They need to be doing their part for the war as well. If they are too old for having babies then they need to be working 10 to 12 hours a day in essential industries, supply factories, food production, rubbish collection, whatever needs to be done. The old biddies, will have to be knitting, sewing and making clothes, both for all the new born children, and for the soldiers on the front. As well as helping all the younger women with the child rearing. This is what it means for women to be defending their homeland.

Rosneft chief reveals cost EU paid for rejecting Russian gas Members of the bloc have shelled out $630 billion to replace Moscow’s resources, Igor Sechin has said . EU nations spent more than $630 billion on non-Russian gas imports in the three years through 2023, the head of Russian oil major Rosneft, Igor Sechin, told an energy panel at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday. “The sum also equals the EU’s total gas spending over the previous eight years,” the Rosneft chief highlighted. EU spent same in 3 years on non-Russian gas as it spent in 8 previous years on Russian gas. Ouch, shooting your own feet hurts. Hi-ho economy, stay the course. This includes exodus of European giants like BASF, Porsche and others.

Zelenskyy and Trump are going to be friends. Both are able to put the political bullcrap aside and do what they think is best for their countries. Trump is going to agree that Zelenskyy ultimately, by defeating Russia, is going to bring major changes to the world order, and Trump is going to want to be part of that victory. We have all heard the expression about the "Gift Horse", I believe both will recognize the opportunity.

Most U.S.aid to Ukraine is not cash but weapons and munitions from the 1980s and 1990s... long ago paid for and on the verge of being decommissioned. @jjchump Well enjoy your Russian / MAGA propaganda then. The yearly defense budget of the U.S. was 820 billion dollars last year and a similar amount will be spent in the future regardless of who is sitting in the oval office or in Congress. You can dream that money will somehow magically end up in the pockets of needy Americans but that just isn't how the system works or ever will work. Much of the wealth of the U.S. comes from a stable world economy and whether you choose to acknowledge it or not military spending is a good part of what keeps that in place.
