True. I have been with mine since I was 17 going on 18 and we didn't move in together until I was 21 turning 22. Been together for over 8 years. We're 26/25 now. I know for a fact if we would have moved in that early and that young we would have definitely broken up. Time tells all! And 1 year is definitely not enough to really know someone. People change, people, grow! That is why divorce is an epidemic because people rush to marry barely being together for 1 year. But your brain is still developing at her age and she will def look back on this and laugh when she's in her mid 20's.

Y’all have to understand Eileen is looking at her relationship how her parents relationship is. It’s healthy, there’s communication, they have a loving family. Eileen is just super eager to have that. With that being said it is selfish of her to talk about Ruben not being in her future simply because his plans are different from hers part of a relationship is compromising and if his plans don’t work with hers and her immediate thoughts are about separation or Ruben not being in her future, then that’s something that she needs to work on because he’s not saying it won’t happen he’s saying it’s just not gonna happen at that moment. That’s something that she needs to understand and be OK with compromising with him about. Advice I’d give to her like she said is to focus on saving her money and getting a car, taking it one step at a time. Build your credit, understand what it’s like to pay bills, and let Ruben focus on his education, so in the future the children you both plan on having will be better off.
