Hey Wayne, you deserve all the kind words. The newbies (myself definitely included) cherish the time you put into these videos. Your unselfish attitude and desire to help others amazes me. In a funny reversal, I use your maps to take my dad fishing rather than the other way round. He’s in his 70s so finding spots that don’t require too much walking are perfect. Anyway, bottom line - you are a legend and I really appreciate your videos. Lex

It has all been said but I will do it as well. Thank you for this. Your words are correct. This information, for me anyway, is simply used to take my kids for an hour or two. Invaluable time.

Wayne I've just recently found your youtube videos. Congratulations mate. They are really excellent. A special thanks for sharing the spots you fish. They are so detailed. Not too many of the guys who post similar videos seem prepared to share. So you've won me. look forward to checking out the rest of your work.

Hi Wayne, I tried your spot under the bridge and caught a nice 31cm bream on half a pippie. Thanks for the tip! I noticed there are a lot of very young bream there too which is great to see. Any advice on how to target the bigger ones? (bait type/size etc). I really want to throw out some hard body lures and give them a whirl but as you mentioned in the video there are a few snags. Have you used poppers on bream before? Cheers, Eden

Hi, what bait and sinker/hook would you recommend from Scotts point (land based)?
@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing

Chris Heron depends on the species you want to target.

Chris Heron no sinker or very very light sinker. 1/0 mustad beak hooks. Bait chicken breast or chicken gut.

DJDanO 'Malley much prefer bait at Scott’s. Bottom half of the tide dusk or night is better this time of year. Target bream and Snapper

Hi Wayne. It's a shame to give out all the local fishing spots that have taken us locals years to learn. My mates and I are wondering why you would do that......
@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing

Hi Tarmac, some people can afford the time to explore and find their own spot x's. There are always more spots. The spots that I have mentioned are very public and any day you go there you will find people. None of these spots will work if they are not fished correctly. I am on the wrong side of 50 now and like most, I spent the first half of my life being a net taker. My intention for the next half is to be a net giver. I am trying to help the dad's out there who want to take their kids fishing increase their chance of seeing a smile on their kids face. My bet is that some of the techniques and locations you use someone has helped you with. I catch countless fish every year (most released) and I promise you that how you approach a spot is way more important than the spot it's self. Hope you are satisfied with this reply. If you want to learn more suggest you have a look at RLBF Moreton Bay FB group. Tight lines Tarmac.
