HOORAY!!!!! At last you got one, well done Luke, nice bream too and defo a flounder. Think I'll have to get one last session in before the dark side (freshwater fishing) draws me in next week. By the way, I just bring the fish home and my other half does all the prepping and filleting and cooks it brilliantly too, lucky me.

Apparently there were a few more being caught down by the church but more palm sized. Yeah I think it was a flounder just the smooth all over gave me doubt. Hopefully you get the chance to catch some bream👍

Good film. Need to get down to Shoreham soon. I've never tried digging but I'd like to try. That digging was a few miles East of Shoreham, was it ?

East worthing by the BP garage. Not as easy as it used to be but there are still a few good spots about. 👍

Thanks mate I'll see how I get on. I mostly use sprats and squid as I can't get hold of the mackerel easy so would love to use fresh lug like that

I know that feeling, I'm normally what's in the freezer and fish type of guy. Used to be a time where I wouldn't fish unless I had fresh worms as it does make a big difference

@@Fishingbug because I live on outskirts of Horsham nowerdays it's a bit of a mission to Shoreham. I'm not very wise on the bait shops so never really manage to get proper baits. So getting there a couple hours early to dig some baits sounds perfect
