But what if your diagnosis is Stage 4 & there is no promise for a tomorrow, a next week, a next month or a next year? I realize NONE of us are promised tomorrow but the odds are a little more stacked against you? Is it best just to forget the possibility of ever being in a loving, intimate relationship again? You are so right. It's hard to see into the future, particularly when one is living with a life-limiting illness. I suppose the best strategy is to live every day to the fullest, including creating connections with others. I can see the hesitation, though, in forming intimate relationships.
