You look great. Hopefully all of your future surgeries go well with beautiful results. I’ve lost 85 pounds now and I thank God I don’t have any loose skin or anything yet but I still have 30-50 pounds left. Wishing you all the best.

You look amazing! Thank you for sharing your continued journey with us. Thank you for bringing the honesty and humor to your vids. I found your videos prior to my own bariatric surgery in Oct 2022. Your insight, wit, humor and information got me through the good and bad times. Incredibly happy to see this for you as you continue your journey of health.

I'm so happy you enjoy my videos. And my sense of humour! I hope that your own bariatric journey has brought increased health and peace to you as well.

PS - Heard some say recently that your favorite people are not likely your favorites because of their size/ shape. (Was that you?)
@finding_health Жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm confused. Someone said that MY favourite people are not really my favourite because of their size??? Definitely not something I'd ever say (or feel!).
@all_ears_ Жыл бұрын
@finding_health not quite... a person's favorite person/ people are not their favorite person because of their shape/ size. I.e. I didn't select my best friend because of how she looked. We just mesh regardless of appearance.
@finding_health Жыл бұрын
@@all_ears_ Okay, gotcha. I wasn't quite sure what you meant. But, yes, I agree: I do not choose my friends based on their size or athleticism. My best friend and I are physically quite opposite of each other and I will never convince her to run with me, but she is my true kindred spirit.

Amazing update. I hope one day to have pretty much the same surgeries done but I'm not there yet on my weight loss. Working on it though! I'm so glad you've taken your life back. More than anything you look so happy.

I want to hug the person in the before pictures; I look so demoralized and sad in them. Life still kicks me in the teeth every now and then (as it does for us all), but at my core I am much more at peace than I ever was.

Isn't it amazing the confidence boost you get when you can look at your body and love what you see?

It's an incredible feeling. I find myself looking at the muscle tone in my legs far more than I look at the extra bits of jiggle I have elsewhere. I'm proud of how resilient my body is.

Thank you so much for sharing this!! I had an extended tummy tuck with mons lips and extended arm lift nine days ago. My pain level was minimal, which was shocking to me. But damn the swelling!! I am up 20 lbs since the morning of surgery, My legs and arms look like the Goodyear blimp. I had my second follow up with the surgeon today and he was not concerned about the swelling. He did have concerns about an infection and prescribed an antibiotic. I hope that my results are as good as yours!!

I'm glad to hear that your pain was minimal! I'm going for a thigh lift consult on Monday and pain levels is my only concern. If my abs hadn't been involved, I think I could have handled it like a champ, but once they touch the muscles? 😬😬 I hope your swelling goes down soon and that you're so happy with your results. It's a slow process to get to the final results but so worth it.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I am also in Ontario, had gastric bypass July 2023…am doing great am starting the process of looking for a surgeon. How did you find yours? Did your doctor recommend?
@finding_health11 ай бұрын
I was initially referred to a different surgeon but that office never contacted me. I then received a second referral to the doctor that ultimately became my surgeon. Because the breast reduction was covered by OHIP, not every surgeon would take me. If you're in the Simcoe County area, I highly recommend Dr. Monica Yu at Blue Mountain Plastic Surgery.

Did you wear a faha? A lot of people that have had skin removal have to wear faja for a long time for swelling. Here in the states if you have any kind of rash or skin breakdown, it's most likely covered for skin removal surgery.
@finding_health10 ай бұрын
Yes, I had to wear a binder for about 5 weeks after surgery. Wish I could have had it covered but the skin has to hang a certain distance past thr public bone and mine didn't meet the mark.

I'm happy about your TT. I woke up with ALOT of extra skin still. I woke up with a different shaped fat belly and I hate it. Lol. My BF tells me to stop worrying about it. but I KNOW I had a really bad tummy before. But It's really morphing my brain because I do not in any way shape or form have a FLAT stomach. She didn't do muscle repair OR lipo. My hips are tight, but my upper stomach is a complete floppy mess still and my surgeon just told me. WELL YA LOOK BETTER THAN YA DID BEFORE SO BYE. Lol. I paid her 15 thousand dollars straight CASH and i woke up without the results she promised me and I'm being told to just leave it alone because Id have to pay more thousands I no longer have to fix it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I have corrective work to be done on the surgery I had as there is still quite a lot of excess skin on my sides, but I'm happy with how my actual stomach turned out. I'd be so upset and devastated in your position; I can't believe your surgeon's response. How unbelievably rude and unacceptable.

My RNY was done by Dr. Star at Humber River. Plastics were by Dr. Yu in Barrie.
