@user-og6ft1kl5j My best advice is to have patience and focus on other things than weight (for example, can you walk further this week than last?). Speak with your team to ensure you're hitting your protein goals.

Hi, I just watched your video on regain and it was terrific. I'm sure I'll end up watching more when I can get over here to KZbin. I had VSG and lost 100 but I have gained 15 from some recent vacations. Super helpful to tune in to somebody who went through the same thing. Also fun to see a Canadian neighbor, as I am down south in the USA (Florida). I think that's so wonderful that you guys have universal healthcare!!!

Congratulations.. I am really inspired. I am 44 .. had my bariatric surgery 3 years ago.. lost a lot of weight but gained 10 kgs in the last 12 months. I feel tired, exhausted, bloated .. I want to be fit and your story is really inspiring. My plan now is build the healthy habits, lose weight, gain muscles and run a half marathon like you.😊

I did 6 - 8 months of research through Google, KZbin, and sitting in on webinars prior to my VSG. It's only now that I'm 3 weeks post surgery and struggling with a stall that I'm finding videos like this one. I really wish that I'd seen it prior to surgery because I would have been better prepared for what I'm dealing with now.

Had 16 day stall after sleeve surgery 4-29-24. Back to loosing weight again. Ill take 1 lb. A week loss right now. Balance water and protien is for sure a challenge. No regrets so far down 90 lbs in 10 months. My mind wants me to over eat but the sleeve changes my mind in a hurry!! Say no more😮
@finding_health7 ай бұрын
It is a very helpful tool when it comes to that overeating urge. 5 years out and it still tells me when to slow my roll. I never feel deprived, though, which was a big fear of mine. Congrats on your new chapter!!

I kept randomly telling my husband "I ran a half marathon" for a few days after the race (even though he was there). It just didn't sound real. I'm so unbelievably proud of seeing all that training through to the end. And I've found a much deeper appreciation for my body. Who cares that it still has a lot of wibbly wobbly parts? It ran a fucking half marathon!! ♥☺

I've been asking myself that a lot! So far, I've only managed to run a total of 3km since the race as it turns out my hip is very angry about it. Didn't bother me at all until I tried to run again. Grrr. I have a 10k race in September with my husband so I'm going to be working on getting my time down a bit. I'm also considering either another half marathon in September or, possibly maybe, a 3km open water swim race.

I'm happy about your TT. I woke up with ALOT of extra skin still. I woke up with a different shaped fat belly and I hate it. Lol. My BF tells me to stop worrying about it. but I KNOW I had a really bad tummy before. But It's really morphing my brain because I do not in any way shape or form have a FLAT stomach. She didn't do muscle repair OR lipo. My hips are tight, but my upper stomach is a complete floppy mess still and my surgeon just told me. WELL YA LOOK BETTER THAN YA DID BEFORE SO BYE. Lol. I paid her 15 thousand dollars straight CASH and i woke up without the results she promised me and I'm being told to just leave it alone because Id have to pay more thousands I no longer have to fix it.
@finding_health7 ай бұрын
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I have corrective work to be done on the surgery I had as there is still quite a lot of excess skin on my sides, but I'm happy with how my actual stomach turned out. I'd be so upset and devastated in your position; I can't believe your surgeon's response. How unbelievably rude and unacceptable.
