From my experience it's not about the shape its in the plastic nipple if the plastic is hard the kid will spit it right out but if it's a softer version (tomme tippee are the best in my opinion) then the baby will latch on.

The shape is relevant to the preparation and storage... it protects the milk from bacterial growth and nutrient loss. The fact that the baby likes the shape is just a plus.

New mommy here! I got these from my registry and they are great BUT the bottle design does not allow a half asleep baby to get all the milk out without sucking up air unless mom is holding the bottle literally inside down unless the bottle is really full.

I used avent bottles for my baby and they never leeked unless she was drooling it out. I really liked my bottles, I would be open to these too but sometimes it's hard to stray from what you're familiar with

I think it's worth the switch because these bottles focus on the quality of the breast milk for the baby and they seem to significantly speed up prep time for the parents... which I could see a few minutes saved making a huge difference when you're trying to get your kid to stop crying in the middle of the night.

@@starcherry6814 I feel you... it's like "don't you know I'm already doing *everything* for you?! give me a break." But I have these bottles and not only do the kids love them, but they actually made a difference for me and my lifestyle... they speed up prep time significantly and I love that I can pump directly into the bottle, store it or freeze it, and quickly warm or defrost it again without having to do any pouring at all (have you ever cried over spilled milk?). Plus the system is so simple for when I have to leave my little ones for anyone else to care for without me around.
