Meeting Rei again back in the burned out ruins of your old house..and then this track comes on and he tells his story..this was my favorite part of the game. I remember as a kid I saved it on my memory card and never erased that block so I could go back to it for this track

Man the reencounter with Rei in the old house was so melancholic, all they wanted was live together like a family but they ended trapped in all that mess Rei was obsessed with revenge meanwhile Ryu and Teepe end in all the brood's mess

This game is what is missing in modern days. It was so simple and yet so emotional game. I don't feel about new games as mush as i did for these old masterpieces like Breath Of Fire 3 and 4. When i was younger I loved Ryu and his cool absolute Dragon powers and I still do, But now i feel more about Rei and the things he says and does. When Rei met up with Ryu for the second time shit got a lot more serious and deep as you see what Rei actually harbors inside of him. The whole thing about God and Brood felt too much for him but nevertheless he stayed loyal to Ryu, his true family.

I loved this game. But I feel, on replaying it over the years, that it's strongest parts were when you were dealing with characters. With Beyd, or Gar, to Rei. When it started to be about Gods and The Brood towards the end of the game.. I sort of lost interest. Also, that Desert is a killer. @_@
