Cook deserved her more. He had more to offer. He said it himself, he was going to settle down, get a job, get his own house-boat, and everything. Effy led him on, she is a selfish bitch in every episode. She ruined Freddy. She got him killed. Cook killed Foster in revenge. Rightfully so. Cook is stronger than Freddy, much stronger. Effy needs a strong man in her life. Unfortunately, we will never know what happened to Cook, or Effy. I have a feeling Cook is still doing his thing somewhere, running scared. Effy? Probably still in prison. She sure cared about Freddy, she mentioned him how many times in FIRE? 0? Oh.. wait..

I believe that Cook is stronger mentally. In series 3 you don't really see it, except for in the last episode, when you learn about his family dynamic, and why he is how he is.. And in Series 4, you learn about how his mother never wanted him and how she was a drunk, which caused him to rebel. You know he has matured by his actions. Especially at the end of Series 4.. He knew he stilled loved Effy, and he was saving her FOR Freddy. But his true strength was shown in RISE - He killed Foster and instead of turning to drugs or something to block out the pain, he powered through it. He also knew he was wrong to do that. He was very wise in RISE, telling Emma to stay away from drugs and his life advice to Charlie was pretty good. And running like he did while Louis was on his homicidal rampage was pretty crazy. He had the dream, where he was told to keep running by Jason. And he wanted to, but he knew staying with the girls is the right thing to do even if it cost him his own life. TL;DR - Cook FTW.

So many years since this generation of Skins have finished, and still watching videos of Freffy makes me smile and my arm hairs stand on end. Such a beautiful couple that shows so much love and adoration through the good and the bad. To this day Freddie and Effy reminds me so much of my first love and I, and even though we have both moved on and lead different lives now, Freffy makes me remember that first, innocent, beautiful, magical love that one only experiences when they fall in love for the first time. This video is amazing.

I've decided to watch series three and four of Skins again purely because of how much I adore it. Watching it again makes me so terrified for series four. The amount of bad things that happened in series four makes my heart sink just thinking about it. I hate how Freddie got killed off, I know that in every last series someone always dies but the way Freddie died was going too far. He was such a lovely person, he cared so well for Effy and not once did he leave her side, she was going through, tried killing herself, she was depressed, she was broken and Freddie was there for her, she became so vulnerable. The worst thing about Freddie's death was that he only went there to tell Mr. Foster to stay away, then he kills Freddie with a baseball bat, I hate how you just hear his screams and see blood splatter I hate how you can just feel the hysteria. Even though it's fictional that death felt so real, no one deserves to die in that way. Freddie was such a good person, he was there for Effy and Mr. Foster was a psychotic killer. His death was so cruel, unexpected, scarring and cold. It's still in my head so vividly. Freddie was one of my favourite chracters I got so attached to him, there was something so infatuating about him and then the way he died so sickly and disturbingly was unspeakable. He was so young too, if he wouldn't have died it would have been nice to see him in season 7 maybe with Effy. His death was so uncalled for, I think that was the most brutal death that ever happened on TV, it was disgusting. I hate how we all got to see Freddie, the boy who saved Effy's life and helped her through a lot and never left her because he had such strong love for her and then he got brutallly murdered, we all had to experience that shocking death but when Cook went to attack to Mr. Foster we didn't get to hear his screams , see the blood like we did poor Freddie and that fucks me off. His death was brutal and so cold. I will never get over that, I'm too scared to watch series 4 and put myself through that pain again, its still in my head so clearly like as if it actually happened

What I can't get over the most is that he didn't get closure and proper burial. Hell his friends don't even know he died, does effy ever even find out? I hate how much he went through for effy and just when he almost got it, he died in the worst way possible. The worst was that his death wasn't even necessary since the doc was fuckin planning to leave. The writers just wanted something to hurt the audience cause otherwise, this generation would not have a bittersweet ending like the last

You know what really pissed me off when I watched Skins Fire? Freddie isn't mentioned. Not even once! And don't dare to say "Oh, but it's over... she moved on", because no one can forget such a powerful love. I waited the whole fucking episode, and nothing! He deserved at least an "I miss you" or something.... Effy became a greedy, easily manipulated woman. Really disappointed me.
