Is the air filter meant to be upside down for how the filter is designed to work?

The air comes into the bottom of the airbox and exits the airbox heading towards the engine from the top, so the air filter is in the correct orientation for this.

@@TorqitPerformancethats the same setup as say a 200 series airbox, air in on the bottom, and out the top towards the engine, but Toyota have the filter installed the opposite way to this

The mesh must face towards the incoming airflow, with fins facing down. Not sure regarding the 200 as we don't offer one for it yet.@@nelsonward8182
