I am 25 and have two disabilities, one with my heart and one with my nervous system. It all started 2 years ago and I have been from bedridden to now house bound. I also have lost sooo much weight and am really bony with thinning hair... I've had it in my mind that no one deserves to have to be involved in this whole predicament that is my life, and I'm just flat out embarrassed because my weight and I stay with my parents/don't ever go anywhere.. Now I can't stop watching your videos and an amazing girl I used to have very strong feelings for in high school is is coming back to town and reached out to me. We have been texting a lot and she wants to hangout. I am petrified but am too inspired by you guys to say no to her. I haven't told her anything about my life other than the fact that I have been in a dark place lately.

The fact that Hanna & Shane are not afraid to fly makes me not afraid to fly. Shane is absolutely right about getting places ahead of schedule. I got to the airport at six o’clock, a half hour ahead of time but when I went to check in, the lady behind the kiosk cancelled my flight because, unbeknownst to me, I was supposed to be there forty-five minutes before the listed time. Why does not the itinerary display this?

I have noticed that other people with SMA (specifically Nora Gooden from Goodentree) communicate with their eyebrows and ear wiggles. She cannot move her lips and can barely use her tongue, so she is very difficult to understand, and she uses eyebrow wiggles and ear wiggles to say yes or no. I guess facial muscles work much longer than other muscles will this illness. Nora was even able to smile up until a couple years ago (she just turned 9)

I love that Shane jokes around about his disability as a fellow person who has a disability I never understood if it was ok to joke about it I have mild cerebral palsy which means I have the symptoms of it but not bad it was worse when I was little but I wanted to get better so I practiced on everything

I don't have any major physical issues but still find their videos to be helpful. The past six months have been the worst in my life with a lot of loss and issues. Watching Shane and Hannah face their challenges with humor and Grace helps me feel as if I can do my own life, even if it's really tough. Plus, their vlogs almost always make me laugh and laughing feels really damn good these days.

Sure, you could push the chair normally, but don't you think it'd be easier just to take off the duct tape, unwrap it, take off the directions, plug it in, turn it on, wrench the controller, put it in drive, and then try to drive it while you're standing up using the joystick?
