Beautiful absolutely stunning if this is in anyway accurate. On a different note most of these women had many children and survived so these people must have known a lot about child bearing that others didn’t know which is awesome! Just not use to hearing about so many children being birthed from one woman and everything working out. I’m impressed

Infact only the Copt Christians of Egypt have a direct connection to Ancient Egypt.Arabs came from an invasion in later centuries. Egypt was invaded by the Greeks and Romans and a host of other ",illegal immigrants" including the "skinnies" from further south....and semiticky types too. Like Ancient Egypt Ancient Rome was invaded by nomad

@@bertplank8011 It is not only the Copts who have a relationship with ancient Egypt. The Coptic term in ancient Egypt was used to refer to all Egyptians, but after the Islamic conquest the Christians retained the term Copts and called it themselves. And There are many Egyptians after the Islamic conquest who declared their Islam and are of Egyptian origin, and most Muslims are of Egyptian origin.

I thought the same thing also.. It seems the artist enhanced certain aspects to look more like modern-day ideals of beauty. With the exception of Cleopatra (was it the VI?…. The one which impacted modern western history teaching) far less feminine beauty (although Elizabeth Taylor portrayed her in American movie) quite androgynous And much more like the bust pictured. IDK... I'm certainly nowhere near an expert Just giving my thoughts.

The ancient Egyptian race consists of Levantine + North African. And both of them are not black. As for the origin of the ancient Egyptians, they are descended from North African + Levantine + the inhabitants of Mesopotamia and Iran + Anatolia. This is the origin of the ancient Egyptian who built the pyramids and built the Pharaonic civilization. But there are other people who came to Egypt, and they are the Libyans, the Nubians, the Greeks, then the Arabs, then South of the Sahara during the slave trade. You can look for the statue of the seated scribe, the statue of Rahotep with his wife, the statue of Khafre, Nefertiti, Horemheb, the mummy of Ramesses II, Yuya, Tuya, Teti, and Tuthmosis IV. The ancient Egyptian used the color red to describe the male, while white or yellow to describe the female. Also, the inhabitants of the island of Crete. In Greece, they used the same method. Search for pictures of the Minoan civilization, which is the civilization of the island of Crete. If you want to see what the Egyptians were like in ancient times, search for portraits of Fayoum, which are pictures of the ancient Egyptians. Most of the pictures on the Internet of Egyptians have been blackened or belong to the Nubians, so it is preferable to visit Egypt and see the pictures for yourself or search On a reliable site. Thank you for reading. I am Egyptian, by the way.

FYI, Egyptian Queens were bald because of lice and sand. They would shave all their hair and instead would wear braided wigs. So they did not have puffy or curly hair like the 3D renderings. What you're looking at are the wigs on the statues and the wigs would instead be "fluffed' out toward the very back like a peacock, think fashion. Also, that's the reason why their skulls were flat and elongated to the back, giving that eggplant shape. It was a status symbol and to also have their headdress tilt back and hang behind the shoulders. Look at all the hieroglyphics, the majority of the wig is hanging at the back. Even on the statues you can see that. That's why their foreheads were smaller and appear slanted a bit back too. Their foreheads were not straight like modern people.

@Michael Scott ... Are you joking ?? There are mummies of our ancestral Egyptian queens that had hair. One of the best examples is the full head of hair of Queen Tiye... You must come here and visit the Cairo Museum. It was our ancient priests that shaved their heads and even eyebrows ... But that was due to our ancient religion.

@M K > Fyi, I don't just read history, I live it...And the idea of Queen Tiye being bald at death, then having a full head of flowing hair grown below her shoulders after being deceased from dead tissue is science fiction.

Those flat foreheads were probably a result of dynastic inbreeding. Because they were revered as gods, those traits were emulated in artistic depictions. Its like the stylized depictions of people in art from the early middle ages in Europe. They followed the same principle. Long, oval shaped faces with impossibly high foreheads.

That's not how most of them actually looked... There was so much inbreeding, that scientists and anthropologists have stated there were multiple and horrible deformities....including in the facial structure, spines, legs, etc. This is a very stylized rendering, to try to make them look much better than they actually would have in life, with the various deformities... Just like most of the contemporary paintings and statues made them look perfect. The mummies tell a different story though. There were only one or two Pharaohs who allowed themselves to be rendered showing their gross deformities, from thousands of years of inbreeding.
