I can see some people in the comments critiquing his dancing, and then lots of people telling them to “give him a break” or “he’s only 9” Frankly, as a dancer, critiquing is a really good thing at any age, because it will allow you to push yourself to be the best you can be, rather than taking the patronising “you’re doing great sweetie” and settling for ok
@Atinychoice5 жыл бұрын
I agree I posted a comment saying he was great and pointed out both good and bad critiques and have got nothing but hate, people need to learn every dancer knows getting critiques is good as people want them to do better and to constantly improve. Xx

survivor of the important videos playlist h Yes but leave that to his dance coach he doesn’t need unasked for critiques just be positive he done amazing
@PlatypusRising555 жыл бұрын
I'm sure he gets plenty of constructive critiques from his actual dance teachers. No one asked folks in the comments to give performers instructions. It has nothing to do with helping him it's just random strangers in the comment taking the opportunity to be critical of someone doing something they can't.
@Atinychoice5 жыл бұрын
Platypus Rising no we’re honest and say what we see. He’s not gonna read these comments bu5 maybe someone who can’t afford dance might and don’t you think it’s nice to help our fellow dancers out. I’m not gonna comment saying how great he was cos what’s the point, we can clearly see that! I would rather not lie and comment something useful

He is 9 and living in a smallish town in Ireland so only has access to whatever dance school is in the locality.His Mother, two sisters and Father are in the audience, it's just the Mother chose to speak to camera. This young talented dancer, entered Ireland Got Talent (Louis Walsh was one of the Judges) and the young man mentioned being bullied because he loved to dance. In that show he danced to the song Never Enough from The Greatest Showman. It brought a few tears to my eyes. So did this dance. It is a shame that he is picked on by his peers, but you can tell he has a determination that will allow him to achieve his goal. He is the Billy Elliot of Ireland!!!

Now that's what they call talent! I hope his parents send him to a top notch full-time ballet school so his technique can improve. It's impressive what he does, but there needs to be a lot more focus on the finishing (like the toes, pirouettes, etc.) With the right education this boy could become a top-notch professional dancer at a renowned company.

UK should really copy Korea and Japan's format for talent shows. In Korea, they never cut the talent's moment, director will ALWAYS show the contestant on screen. Then they will put a mini video around the corner to show the reaction of the Judges and audiences. Just take a look at this video right here. I'd say 40% of the actual time is the viewers seeing cringey scripted reactions of Judges.
@y-095 жыл бұрын
I know... But here in the UK the producers make it as dramatic as possible...
