They should but likely won't and I'm guessing he wouldn't want to. As an employee he has to abide to budget's, deadline's etc. Right now he does this in his spare time if I'm not mistaken and can spend all the time he wishes to do.

Being American I absolutely love these British maps. Here everything is so open and large. I love playing these maps with older smaller equipment to make it more realistic and very personal experience. Look forward to this!

Same, im Australian but as far as ik we have some of the biggest farms in the world 🤷🏼‍♂️ (i think) bit the tight roads and all that other fun European stuff would be great to play in game

People like OxygenDavid make Giants look like a bunch of clowns. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game and am acknowledging all the improvements, but when you think of the TEAMS they involve to output crap vanilla maps… and that one guy just creates Calmsden from scratch? I’m still waiting on my friends to buy the game as some people don’t even consider buying before modders have had their hands on the game. I’m sure I would have skipped on 22 too if it wasn’t for the likes of OD and Wopster. These people are what makes the game, even more so than the devs.

A lot of my friends are farmers, we don’t play fs until good mod maps come out. That’s how crap base game maps are.

I love his maps. So much picturesque detail, and so many useful, functional buildings. On Giants maps, I usually end up using fields for place-able buildings, redefining field boundaries, creating new fields on hillsides, etc. Oxygen David's maps are usually perfect: ready to play for hours just the way they are.

I really wonder if it's possible for a mod where in fields you don't own to see "AI Workers" out and about. It would be really cool to not feel like you're the only farmer in the area. If you don't own the field it would be cool to see a worker plowing the field or something. I would think its super easy since you an already hire AI and they know how to work and drive on the field. Just need to mod it so it would automate that feature on fields that you don't own or something.

I would imagine it could be possible. AI workers already exist but the only issue I could see would be spawning in the equipment that they would be using.

This map is truly amazing. I just checked this video with on my other screen the Google Maps / Streetview pictures of Calmsden. It's a 1 on 1 comparison, really cannot believe how good this is!!

The level of detail on this map is truly phenomenal. The fish, the post boxes, the fire hydrants. I even heard the congregation singing "Jerusalem" as you drove past the church! OxygenDavid has got to be the greatest Farming Simulator map maker of them all.

Having visited Calmsden village myself in real life in August (just after the FS19 first look video), the map really encapsulates the feel of the real place in perfect detail. I have no idea how oxygendavid does it! Can't wait to play the map for myself as I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time here.

this map has everything you need WOW WOW WOW!! just atcing you do the map tour today Daggerwin it blew me away!! Oxygendavid has put all of his thought into this map and really made it come to life, the fact he added fish into the stream is just incredible and add more life than ever. birds flying to trees is amazing and also adding people walking around it just brings the map to life. Daggerwin thank you for doing this incredible map tour and i can't wait for it to come out!!!

I lived 3 miles from there up till recently and I can tell you now it’s so realistic it’s amazing. The details down to post boxes and the recycling centre is so accurate. Amazing work by Oxy and as normal great video Dag’s

If there's 1 thing that could bring me back to playing FS (Didn't play much FS19), it's an OxygenDavid map. Superb. My favourite FS map still remains Oakfield Farm but this looks like this might actually beat it out of 1st place. Which is difficult considering one of the things I love about Oakfield Farm is that Time Team did a dig at Coberley (from memory it was in Field 31, but I'm only going on memory as to the field number) in which they uncovered a Roman villa complete with mosaic floor. How's that for realism? Anyway 3 words for OxygenDavid ... Respect and Thank You. Again, truly superb. Cheers.

I've watched all your FS22 videos up to this point having never played either it or any other version of FS, and after seeing this map I will definitely be buying the game! This map is epic! Kudos to the designer. It has every wonderful feeling of being in the Cotswolds and brings back a lot of memories of many trips back to the UK. I’d be interested in an Australian map (seasons flipped and hot weather meaning you’d have to water more, etc). That would be pretty cool.

Just the thumbnail of this map is amazing. Looks like a real photo of a farm. And not just because of the lighting but look at those bales! Yara is the name of fertilizer manufacturer, used to be called Norsk (Norwegian) Hydro.

If and when you get onto this map, you have to mod in an older Land Rover as the small farm vehicle. I think that is the only thing missing from the yards and driveways.

for everyone who still havent understood it. THE MAP IS NOT COMPLETE. the initial version is, now its solo playtesting time and when thats good and nothing major pops up then it will move on to multiplayer testing and when that is done it will be submitted to Modhub. also modhub is very much backlogged for the time being due to holidays etc and a ton of mods already in que. so be patient everyone and appreciate the full map with all the details when its released

I have only really enjoyed playing on 1 Giants map since I started on FS15 and that was Westbridge Hills. Everything else just wasn't what I liked. I'm thankful for modders like Oxygen David for giving us the great maps.

breathtakingly realistic is an understatement for this map, i took a detour through Calmsden village on my way home from Cirencester, as i live in the Costwolds , the accuracy of this map to real life is outstanding, needs to be released ASAP as the released maps look amatuer compared to oxygen davids work

This map is incredible. I'm from Portugal but somehow this feels familiar to me. The level of objects detail plays a big role of course, but the textures, the sounds, the richness of it all. It's amazing. Imagine how incredible this would be if it was using all the potencial of Unreal Engine 5. WOW

This map looks amazing Oxy. Thank you for all the hard work for the community. Great job making a UK map with lower number of fields, but all medium to large. I hate euro maps with 150x 0.75-hectare fields...its such a pain to use with large machinery. - I like to start small and build up, but my goal on every map is to own and farm it all....I've only kept my sanity on Elm Creek by doing massive field merges wherever possible - not feasible on the other stock maps due to terrain, and the ever-dreaded hedgerow, lol

I hope OxygenDavid decides to make an American map for 22. In my part of the upper Midwest, fields aren't gigantic and open like the rest of the country. It would be great to have a true to life map like this but with more of a local touch. Either way I'll be looking forward to this release. Great work OxygenDavid!
