So lovely just to watch you doing traditional box braids as we have just got used to doing knotless and watching you do knotless. There is something so beautiful about box braids that have a vibe all of there own‼️ I still love doing them myself but not many people want them and they want knotless. I love doing medium box braids with pre stretched Xpressions hair and love mixing color’s. You did a beautiful job of these box braids Bray, parts, tucking and consistency in your braids boo. I know this video is older, but when you said you did a sew in on her hair and she had dry patches, many times it's the hair weave and it's best to soak the hair weave or braiding hair in regular vinegar for an hour to 2 hours and make sure to leave the twist ties on the weave to keep the hair together while you are soaking it, then rinse it and let it air dry before installing the hair because this method takes that waxy coating off, which can irritate your scalp.

What did you use to braid her hair oil or gel and do you have suggestions for someone with 4c hair to braid the hair and keep it neat? Product that is good for braiding.
@abelcollado55884 жыл бұрын
@@Navaura I used gel. I mainly try to use products that aren't damaging to the hair, but I use whatever i find at the store. I recommend you take your time, make sure you've used enough product [not too much] on your hair and make sure your smoothing it out as your braiding. I also recommend you worry about the quality of the braid rather than how long it took. You should also do what Pana does at the end [apply mousse to your braids], I do it and it works just fine for me. Products that I've used [and are good in my opinion] are: *Shea Moisture loc and braid butter *Mane choice crystal orchid styling gel [i like it but unless your fingers are wet, it leaves a sticky texture on your fingers when it dries] *TRESemme make waves Gel [I like this one because it's a spray gel and it doesn't leave a sticky texture when it dries] *Eco styling gel *Shine and Jam magic fingers *ORS hair lotion[i dont know if it's meant for braiding but i like how smooth it makes the hair and has a decent hold]
