So lovely just to watch you doing traditional box braids as we have just got used to doing knotless and watching you do knotless. There is something so beautiful about box braids that have a vibe all of there own‼️ I still love doing them myself but not many people want them and they want knotless. I love doing medium box braids with pre stretched Xpressions hair and love mixing color’s. You did a beautiful job of these box braids Bray, parts, tucking and consistency in your braids boo. Love you so much and thank you so much for your support through my illness sweetie. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Xxx

In. My. DREAMS! This here is gonna take me forever when I finally get down to it & braid my daughter’s hair. I don’t braid for pay anymore because I fractured my spine twice now (April 20th was the last time). I’m 8 weeks post surgery and I’m just ITCHING to get back to braiding. It’s like my hands need something to do. I’m good at math too! 🙂

I know this video is older, but when you said you did a sew in on her hair and she had dry patches, many times it's the hair weave and it's best to soak the hair weave or braiding hair in regular vinegar for an hour to 2 hours and make sure to leave the twist ties on the weave to keep the hair together while you are soaking it, then rinse it and let it air dry before installing the hair because this method takes that waxy coating off, which can irritate your scalp.

@abelcollado5588
@abelcollado5588 4 жыл бұрын
@@Navaura I used gel. I mainly try to use products that aren't damaging to the hair, but I use whatever i find at the store. I recommend you take your time, make sure you've used enough product [not too much] on your hair and make sure your smoothing it out as your braiding. I also recommend you worry about the quality of the braid rather than how long it took. You should also do what Pana does at the end [apply mousse to your braids], I do it and it works just fine for me. Products that I've used [and are good in my opinion] are: *Shea Moisture loc and braid butter *Mane choice crystal orchid styling gel [i like it but unless your fingers are wet, it leaves a sticky texture on your fingers when it dries] *TRESemme make waves Gel [I like this one because it's a spray gel and it doesn't leave a sticky texture when it dries] *Eco styling gel *Shine and Jam magic fingers *ORS hair lotion[i dont know if it's meant for braiding but i like how smooth it makes the hair and has a decent hold]

Its sebum the natural oils that lubricates our hair. The sew in didn’t allow it to travel down the hair shaft and it dried there. But I think we sometimes confuse it with dry skin.

Love your work. I’m practicing as much as I can do I’ll finish in less than 6hrs. Can you tell me how do you deal with the pain like knees, feet and hand pain? 🥺

This will help some. Not sure of the correct name of the rug but its made out of form. It helps support feet and back while standing long. A good pair of supportive and padded tennis shoes help some as well.
