I’m going to try this method. I’ve previously done it braiding and extension in from the root but crocheting both pieces looks faster. Also I want to share this alternative way to seal the Loc. The crochet hook that loctitions use (no hook loop part) world to just crochet the hair tightly together at the end as long as the ends don’t have any of the clients or your own actual hair. Then you won’t need glue or anything. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hey girl ! I just used your method and I love it !! It is so much lighter than the other way. I heard you mention it you need to work on adding so much hair. No, you don’t. That is completely fine ! Remember the more hair you add determines how thick your dread will be. What you do is, once your done with the loc.... Grab some scissors and cut most of the hair off from that loc you just did. Or at the end. Do the same. Grab each loc one by one and cut some of the hair off. It will look just a little more neater. And will last a tab longer because it’s not so much hair at the end. AGAIN... I LOVED THIS METHOD ! I Actually have a client coming tomorrow off the pic I posted of my hair using YOUR METHOD. Again 😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️

People’s hair fallout because they braid too tight. The reason is that faux braids aren’t supposed to stay in hair for long, after 2 months, you need to let the hair breath and comb it, if not your hair will start dread naturally, and when you try to comb it out, you’ll just end up pulling out your natural hair.

Omg I just found my next hairstyle. Im always on KZbin finding new protective styles for my hair to keep the tension off my edges but usually use the yawn for my dreads but the last time I did then they was sticking on top my hair like Kodak black lol . But now I know i can use this hair.

Personally my favorite method when sealing the ends is a flat iron ... I tried nail glue method it got to messy, and lighter method is great to !

I’m trying to figure out why it takes everyone 12 -18 hours for regular faux locs .. it takes me 5-6 hours .. this method would cut my time to 3 hours !! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO❤️
