Hey Mate! Well now there's a quality problem . . . four million baby Acaras! 🙂I watched the first half of the video and had to go run some errands. Ithought I'd stop by the local big box pet store on the way home. They've had some Electric Blue Acaras for a while now and I thought I'de get teh lot and put them in my 75 gallon with my two Angelfish and my Bronze Corys. They were covered with Ich!!! I will keep looking. Like I usually say - I love looking at your tanks. Don't get me wrong - I love the fish. But I get more inspiration just looking at your tanks - they way you set them up, the plants, the ornaments along the tops. . . . Your bonsai tank is looking absolutely fantastic! Those little swamy Cypress are really coming along nicely. I gotta say, I really liked the look of that Brazilian pennywort. So much so, I just went to eBay and bought some. It's going to look great in that 75 floating over my Angelfish. Once upon a time I had an American Staffordshire named Toby. He was about 65 pounds of pure muscle and love. I do miss him. Anyway, give Ziggy and Brutus pats on the heads for me, and you be well. Cheers! ~Ron

Great video ❤. I particularly likedthe bits where you changed your mind, and then you explained why you changed your mind. I think it's what makes the video so good. A lot of people making videos often just say "I did x and then I did y", but, your video is far more interesting and useful because it explains why you did x, why you were going to do y, but, then did z instead. From what you said in the video you seemed to think you changing your mind was a bad thing, but, personally I think that's the video's strength not it's weakness. PS I loved the bits with Ziggy too because wandering off topic here and there adds extra interest. :)

My 3rd Acara batch of fry is dwindling, but I'm happy to allow the parents to develop their skills etc. In fact, the female as basically given up, but the the father remains constantly vigilant, protecting his babies 24/7. There's only about 15 baby Acara left, but I'm hoping the smartest of the batch will hide and survive? 🙏 When will the breeding season end - I'm needing a break! 😄

Hi Jess, thanks for your support and glad you found me again lol the boys do tend to be larger, especially in length and I think the girls have darker and broader faces especially when they are full of eggs. Other than that, they are pretty much identical and you would have to, let them pair up naturally to be certain. I think I have roughly at 95% success rate in picking them even when they’re small as I’ve been reading them for so long.🙏❤️🐶🇦🇺🦘

I am about 4 hrs north of you. Do you find that you have mould problems with so many tanks without lids?

OK, cool, and yes, definitely have mold issues particularly in winter when the door is shut. During the summer, autumn and spring months, the door is open most of the time and I have no condensation issues during those times. Winter is a big problem.🙏🦘🐶❤️🇦🇺

Yeah, they would do perfectly well in there, and if anything, the rainbows would most likely be more aggressive towards them than the other way around. I🙏❤️🐶🦘🇦🇺

I occasionally do sell online and ship to the public but mostly has been through Ross at Arcy Aquariums and Jack @Mad Aquariums and of course Nick from keeping fish stores. My Fish will be going into their stores roughly mid December. I think at this stage and I will also let everyone know who was local where they can go in and buy some.🙏❤️🐶💪🏻

I got to the point where I had around a thousand babies gave most away . If anybody is in Sydney and a follower of Adrian I am happy to donate an active breeding pair I have left as I am focusing on breeding other fish now .
