Circles bro. If the basic mechanics are the same as Evolved, Put your perfect clean females in a circle, male in the middle. 20 female Rexs can be put around him. Works best on large creatures but also pretty good for medium and small. Pull the male when you get the mutation, now if the result is female you sex swap her with the clean perfect male you’ve kept off to the side. If a male is the result of either the initial breeding or the sex swap, you just put that male into the center of your circle.

They did lower the range. I have had a male argie more than 1 foundation away no longer breeding with the female. However, you could get a few more in a circle around the male, but not many more. I don't think we can get the 20+ anymore.

So just got a breeding pair of theris. Put them head to head facing each other so their heads are clipping together. Female won't mate. I have to move her even closer to mate. She wouldn't start mating until their shoulders were clipped together.

Put all your females in a tight ball, place a ramp starting from the edge with ceilings over the females and put your male on the top. Easy to swap out male too….

I make a large enclosed structure, put my male in the center and surround him with clean females (with raptors i could fit about 11 around the male) and leave space enough to walk a new male raptor in. Then i put all my females on passive, ignore whistles. You can have as many cells of this as you want, and just keep switching the male between groups so you dont have to wait out the breeding cooldown.

The problem is that you use 11 females cd at once. In case you get mutated male you want to switch breeding male to continue mutating. In lower sets you are cumulating mutations faster.

Love your videos....great info. My questions is....If I'm breeding rex's for my first boss fight. I want to essentially have 1 high level male and 16 females. And all 17 of those initial breeders shouldn't have any mutations? And also, can I use ones i've already put levels in? Or should I find high level wild dino's and not put any levels in them?

Confused about something. I bred 2 clean Rexes and got a baby with a melee stat and color mutation, but the problem is the baby is a female. Is there a way to work with that, or should I keep breeding and hatching until it's a male

Breed the new female with clean male until a baby male comes out with the mutation, then continue breeding with the new mutated male

So much of this is setting up ppl on official settings to fail with a incorrect explanation of what it takes to cap out a dinos stats. If you want some input from someone who has been a 1x breeder for years hit me up and Ill help you with correct info because this is just silly honestly

I don't get the "groups of 4" thing. I used to breed 30 female Rexs at a time no problem but you say the max females that can breed with a male is 4? Is that an ASA change? Plus I don't get how 14 females guarantees a mutation. I often got zero mutations from 30.

There isn't a max of 4. I've done five female argies to one male and they all breed at the same time on ASA. I used to have 14 or so female rexes to one male in ASE. I believe Teach is wrong when it comes to this. He also shouldn't be saying it's "guaranteed" to get a mutation from 14 breeds. It's all a percentage chance. It may be very likely that 1/14 of them will be mutated, but not guaranteed.

Babies stuck in parents, jeeze. I was hoping they would of fixed this at least lol. They should just make a device u craft that is the location the baby pops onto, like spawn pad/baby nest under or update the damn code so the baby pops out away from the parent a little, instead of inside!

I guess they put a cap on females per male. I used to breed about 10+ female Rex to one male on ASE.

There is no cap I have a moschops kibble farm and the male can mate like 20 females at once.

100 tame limit? That isn't hardcapped on singleplayer and can be changed at least in ASE it was possible because I had a cap of 10,000 creatures but never even reached 1k creatures lol.
