We sat for hours looking over Funkadelic, Parliament, Bootsy Rubber Band, The Brides of Funkenstein, Parlet, Jimmy J & The Tackheads, Mutiny on The Mothership, Quasar, Maceo & Fred Wesley, Fuzzy Haskins, But in the End when I pulled out his LPs I know his heart was filled that Night. There's way more dancing and jammin' going on in New Jerusalem that how we party on earth can't even compare. Rest in Peace/Christ Bernie, and may the Lord forgive you of all of your sins just like I want to be forgiven. Just at another level!! I think I saw them for the 1st time in 78 / 79, NYC at MSG. I was like Wow, there are 600 band members on stage, a Huge Bird flying over my head, A huge skull smoking a joint, and a Space Ship dropping down. I don't smoke but got my 1st contact high that night-LOL It was an amazing show!!!

Saw Funkadelic at what I think was their first gig in Europe (Cleethorpes UK) back in the 1970s. Stood next to Bernie and Eddie Hazel while Bernie played pinball during the support band Osibisa (now forgotten). I still feel the glow!

Always dreamed of playing with, even jamming with brother Worrell and Bootsy. Almost got to play with George and the Funkmob back in early 2ooo's but I was in a different spiritual place during the time so had to rain check. I don't reget it though because I have always been a student and respect not only Bernies musical contributions but his humanity and humility for his gift. I thought the bass player was having tech probs but they all played with Bernie, I didn't. Wish I could but I'll be thankful for hearing and feeling the music. Peace! Eternal Funk!
