I love that feeling of letting those last few notes fade and holding one last one, it's the best. I see I'm not the only pianist that does that :)
@Verdegrand13 жыл бұрын
@GooseberryMk3 thank you, i was actually inspired by uematsu's playing during his live performances with the black mages. he seriously rocks with that hammond organ sound. doing a good arrangement of a piece that someone listens to a lot (depending on how much of a lunatic card collector the player is) is of course challenging, too :)

Very nice! Just one suggestion: there is possibly an unwanted dissonance at 0:43 and 0:52 (again at 1:57 and 2:06, before the strings plucking), maybe it's caused by that b9 note between "f#" on the left hand and "g" on the right hand. I think the rest of the reharmonization works perfectly. Cheers!

@DiscoInTheNunnery thanks, well i've done it before in the lost paintings (castlevania sotn) video, and while the technique isn't really common, it's been done before primarily from 20th century composers. it's a pain to do though if you're not used to it :(

Terrific, and you even kept the string plucking in tempo, which would seem to take some practice. :-) Reminds me of an Ahn Trio concert I went to a few years ago, the pianist also had creative uses of her instrument.
