My favorite Breitling! It’s a stunner with the white dial.

I believe it also has a minute repeater function by pressing the crown once, not sure in which mode though. Love the watch and breitling, thanks for the review.

i like it, i want it... BUT the point i do not want one is that is it a quartz and that i am Always thinking in my head that this watch has a given lifetime. So that it can age just like 30-40 years for example but now continue to get older and older. What do u think about this?
@oscargustavoarcosruiz87936 жыл бұрын
I do not understand your concern. All the mechanisms tend to wear out and fail at some point, both mechanical and quartz, but with proper maintenance I do not see why a quartz watch can not last a human lifetime and more. The Aerospace also habe a caliber of the first order, much better than those of a Casio for example (and today there are many Casios of the 80's working perfectly) On the other hand if the age of the watch is so important to you can always buy a new one, although these are much more expensive but, like any new watch, you enjoy the guarantee that everything is in perfect order,something that is not always achieved with a vintage watch.

Hi Oscar, I Always buy new.. I own now a 114060 and i will buy a explorer 2 next i think or a blnr. What i mean, is: I buy something with the idea of owning it forever, that it would still exist over 100 years and more if u know what i mean. I am somewhat afraid that it won't be the case with this watch as the display can burn down, the battery probably leak and it will eat the innerwork and case etc. etc.. just a inner, perhaps unrealistic struggle where i'd like to get help with(

I like this one a lot but I’m a little out off by the lightness of it due to the titanium combined with the thinness of it. But what great function and aesthetic. Great vid as always!

Man, I love this version with white dial! 👍🏻 (I have it in black dial and love it too! 😄) However... What I dislike from all ana/digi Breitling (ETA) "movements" is that they force you to change them by new ones when you service them every "X" years, as they claim they loose accuracy and can break over time, so it's their policy to maintain the quality up there (🤔)... Maintain the quality? (🤔)... I have no knowledge of any €20 Casio in which you have to change the movement every "X" years under risk of breakage! (🤔)... Is that the "quality" of Breitling? (🤔)

This is a nice piece. I have the first generation, with the minimalist dial. The Aerospace, as its name implies, is great for international travel, with a second time zone, stopwatch, countdown timer, etc. Plus, the understated but sophisticated wrist presence, at least with some of the older versions, makes it possible to wear it in most situations and locations. For better or worse, the current version of the Aerospace has gotten much bigger and fancier, in keeping with market trends.

Actually you can track 3 time zones with it. I’m an airline pilot B777 captain. Time 2 GMT. Time 1 Home. Hands set to your international destination. Watch wears wonderfully, especially when you are sweating and working. It’s light. Love it.

Great vid and watch. This model I really like but just couldn’t own it. If it was super easy to use and easier to reach each function would be more appealing. Or better yet, exclude all that nonsense and just make an insane quartz like this without the extras.

If that watch was a solar it would totally be killin, it so it wouldn't need to go in for service every 3 years needing to pop the rear seal.

I'm glad that you like this watch. Breitling is a stranger in the quartz movement segment. It is good quality, but out of place. There are much better high tech watches for less money than this. I would never invest in this piece. But if you're happy, all is ok!

I really like this watch and Breitling too although I wonder if you would have been better selling the Tudor and maybe got a few extra bucks out of it rather than a trade as it was in fantastic condition. All good though as long as you both walked away happy 👍👍

How about battery change and service? Send it back to Breitling?
@BruceWilliams6 жыл бұрын
I would send it back for a service, but would have my local watchmaker replace the battery. Hes really good
@channelwanderer70103 жыл бұрын
I just replaced my battery. Oh boy was it fiddly. Had to put on a loupe and use very fine tweezers. Screws retaining battery are tiny. I took it apart then set in a sealed box with rice for a week to hopefully remove any moisture. Checked there was no damage on the watertight gasket for the back. Only seals I couldnt check were on the activating shaft. Must be ok though as a few showers later no sign of moisture ingress.

The great thing about trading amongst friends is a deal will always come back around to you. Lose a little on one, but gain some on another. I would only rack it it up as a loss if its a one time deal... as I am that friend he's talking about, we take care of each other all the time.

Great review! I like your reviews. U mentioned this watch sells at $4000+ n now can get it for $1000-$2000 , wonder what’s the point of owing Swiss watches when they does not hold any value. But one at $4000 n sell at $2000.
@BruceWilliams6 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you enjoy them! Ten years ago this watch retailed at 4k. I bet you could have gotten a nice discount at the AD. Nowadays they don't have anywhere close to that value, but for what they do sell for, I like it. Generally most Swiss watches depreciate unless you talking Rolex or Haute.

Bruce....do you know about the seiko H021? It looks kinda like a Breitling. Or is it the other way around? Who came out first hmmm. To me the seiko had done it wayyyy better. But I mean the materials of the Breitling, "swiss made" "chronometer" expensive branding and stuff. It looks nice. But I still find the seiko to be a bit more attractive. It's about 38mm in diameter and it's like the perfect size too. Tell me what you think ? That was my views on it. You should get your hands on one!!!!
