@@hfuffvnjvnijd8989 wrong. I have written confirmation from Breitling about this. You can read yourself on their website where they clearly state its only white gold on the Navitimer. In good old days the Schneider logo was always precious metal but Kern is on a mission to increase prices while increasing margins, hence these changes to lower production cost. You can see cost cutting in other areas as well e.g finish and casebacks.

Amazing watch. Have it in the blue version. Love it’s super quartz as I don’t wear any of my watches regularly. So it saves winding and setting time/dates. Just grab and go.

@@VersedNJ True. I love those movements, but I wouldn’t necessarily call them a Citizen movement. Citizen puts them in zero Citizen watches. And the movements actually say Bulova on them if you open up the watch. Pretty cool, and Bulova never gets their due. Yes Citizen owns the brand, but the brand is still headquartered in New York, and the 262khz movement is exclusively Bulova.

I have a COSC quartz in my Precista, 8 secs a year. never even check it against an atomic synced clock ! Those Bulovas are well good as well. my best is the Accutron Seiko, GPS synced. I stll love my auto watches all the same, to think what perfection is needed like Grand Seiko's to acheive their timekeeping is phenomenal

Love the orange, but it’s pretty offensive beyond that. The BREITLING stamped on the band reminds me of shirts I wore in 1992 with TOMMY HILFIGER barfed all over them. The dial is far too busy as well, yeah... not impressed. That it costs 3/4 as much as the Omega I want is total assurance I would never own this ugly beast, even if it was a gift.

Good looking watch however the fatal flaw is a 30 minute chrono on an Endurance watch is just stupid. Like installing an ashtray on a motor cycle. Hopefully Breitling re think this one.

Breitling endurance, is a glorified swiss g shock!!, the g shock is better. People with too much money and no sense by this overpriced tat. Buy a g shock it does everthing the endurance does, and more besides. Get.a mudmaster AT mega accuracy sapphire crystal carbon fibre. Who gives a toss if its not swiss. The japanese build some fabulous timepieces with state of the art technology. Take the breitling emergency watch!! How many people own a boat, and if they get into distress can call out the emergency services to rescue them?,.this is a rich kids toy, and the watch.needs to be reset by breitling if used, big big.bucks.

In my very humble opinion, it’s an ok watch, but the price for what you are getting is bordering on madness. 3000? Really? Not a chance Sir. Garmin are for sports. If you look what a Garmin Fenix can do compared to this, it’s a joke, and at 1/6th of the price?????

So i used my chrono on mine and it did what yours did. Spun both little circle and stopped the seconds hand on noon while the clock continues to count time. Now how do you get the seconds hand to tick again with the normal time keeping mode? Or does it only tick when the chrono is on?

The large, red hand on the center stack is not the traditional second hand on chronographs. It is only moving while the chronograph is running. The actual seconds hand is in the 6 o'clock subdial. That one is always running.

Strap looks stiff af. For a watch that light, strap should be smooth as Butter, otherwise it just won’t embrace your wrist because of its lightness. Unless you strap it so tight....

I have a few of the newer release straps. My findings is that the black straps seem to be a nice soft more flexible feel brand new but the boutique edition strap releases in any colour other than black ie. orange, blue or army green seem to be made of a thicker, harder plastic feeling rubber

I think is a really nice piece, now way over price. Was back in 88 and walking along 5th Ave N York to a Cellini jew store buy my first Breitling. A chronograph with gold on the 4 points around and the 3 time markers, leather bracelet, the best cost me U$ 1. 700

Buy a Certina DS2 Chronograph with a precidrive having the same ETA 251.264 around $500 and you can save around $2,500 and still get the same benefits of super quartz (thermocompensated) 10 sec+/- per year.

Breitlite is actually a great material. It’s highly scratch resistant, and six times lighter than steel. Love wearing mine everyday, perfect everyday watch.

Buying this watch and going for an adventure is like going off-terrain with a Bentley Bentayga :D We (the normal people) are more than happy with G-Shocks. A tough solar, multiband 6 or bluetooth G-shock with an accuracy of +/-0 sec per year is more than enough imo :D Btw good review as always, very objective and informative. And thanks for also reviewing this kind of watches (at this price category) because it gives us a different perspective and allows us not to categorize as overpriced a $100, $200 or even $500 G-shock with all the above-mentioned features :D

There is an even more economical alternative besides the Luminox.. I bought a 300$ Citizen Promaster titanium with black PVD. Next I changed the horrible black strap for an orange aftermarket soft rubber strap with black hinges that normally goes on a T-Touch. I bought it for 8$. Finally, I added a Cyclops for 3$ which, in my opinion, makes it a bit more special. And voilà a look-alike with not too shabby quality for 310$.Oh... and it is solar powered. The movement adds about one second in a week.
