I purchased the yellow one in march at full price. Some of the comments say $3000+ is a lot for a quartz watch but once you have it in hand you really see the quality and craftsmanship. It is super light and you almost forget you are wearing it. The coating Breitling puts on their quartz puts any of my other timepieces to shame. It is very durable! I have worn it in gravel races, half marathons, and backpacking. For those of you on the fence, I say pull the trigger. It’s a great piece to the collection. The accuracy of the super quartz is insane.

agree, but we all know, that customer will pay more just for the brand, Breitling brand. Also, super precise quartz (ETA F06.412) is also using Luminox Mil-Spec XL.3351 (3350 series) for fraction of the price. 10s a year, and 7 years battery life. With Sapphire crystal with AR, and 300m WR.

Maybe someone can confirm or correct me, but I think the case material of these is glass reinforced. It certainly LOOKs like glass reinforced plastic. Like a carbon weave in a carbon fiber or rebar in concrete, glass fibers in plastic make them significantly stronger and more resistant to melting and scratches.

I tried one of these on today. The dial shifted from side to side my approx a millimetre when pushing the crown in and out. Is this normal?

These watches despite being exceptional, robust with the breitlight, extremely light and so comfortable always get so much stick from people calling them plastic and being critical of the super quartz. They are so nice in hand. It’s not cheap but I honest think these watches are so good I bought an orange and then a blue. Bought my first due to wanting a bretlight watch in my collection and it is so little fuss with being quart I don’t need to set and wind every time I wear like all my others. Some watches are so uncomfortable and heavy despite looking fantastic, this wouldn’t be my best looking watch but god it’s so light and comfortable. Reason for the quartz is thin and lightweight.

Thats strap says B R E I T L I N G on it. However on their website, they have a different strap. It's smooth down the centre and does not say Breitling? Have they released a newer model, or just changed the strap?

Yes £3k is expensive but once in hand the quality of this watch is superb. It’s not plastic it’s carbon composite and is a super quartz so it’s slime and ridiculously light weight.

I bought the exact watch from a reputable jewellery store in the uk……..bezel screw missing!!!!! Quality control at Breitling …….zero for a £2850 not good enough, will stick to my omega and panerai!😊
