All Soloists have done a great job. The harpsichord also brought a fresh style of the solo passage in Adagio. The accompanying oboes and bassoon enhance the contrast of the “Ripieno” part. Great performance！Thanks❤❤

Aside from the superb performance, the close attention on the part of all the musicians to the purity of their intonation (in quarter-comma meantone tuning, I guess) makes all the difference in the world. The effect is glorious.

Meravigliosa esecuzione ! Fatta di brio, freschezza, energia : bravi ! In questo pezzo c'è l'anima italiana, vera, profonda, quello che ci rende così amati in tutto il mondo (bellissimo poi che tutto questo venga da un'orchestra tedesca). Mi piace molto inoltre la magica atmosfera e la suggestiva acustica della chiesa dedicata alla "Nostra amata Signora". Possiamo sperare di sentirvi un giorno in Italia ?

I prefer this "Concerto Grosso" to be played as originally written, with strings and continuo. I don't think there is any need to incorporate wind instruments... But nowadays the recording market is so saturated that everyone is looking to do something "different". 🙄
