Laura and Brenda: It was great to meet you both this past weekend in Rochester. I really enjoyed all the chatter and laughs with Laura and I have to say that I did watch your last floss tube and I did NOT Twitch! You are charming and I will be sure to check out more of your floss tubes. I wanted to respond privately but I could not figure out how. I love that you both enjoy the same craft as I do and that you enjoy the same styles too. I just love sharing my joy of stitching and crafts with others. Have a great week and I hope our paths cross again.

Brenda mentioned Sheri, Colorado Cross Stitcher's newsletter about comfort stitching. You two are my "comfort flosstube"😊. We don't know each other, but I feel like I'm meeting up with old friends for a stitching get together each time I watch you. I don't really stitch samplers, or stitch on 40 count (or linen for that matter!), I don't buy any fancy stitching "extras", and I go to one retreat each year. But in spite of the differences between my stitching life and yours, I truly feel the love of needlework and the sheer enthusiasm for it that you both have and it resonates so much with me. I look forward to watching your flosstubes and settling in with some stitching to hear and see all the great stitching news you've got to share. And of course...the laughs! 😂. Thank you both for all that you share with us and for making me feel right at home with you😊. Enjoy all of your upcoming retreats! Safe travels!

I purchased the Clover dome gadget a couple of years ago for a Modern Folk Embroidery year sal. It is best thing since sliced bread for a monochromatic piece. 10 needles all loaded with floss ready to go. I love that thing. In fact, I might just get another for one of those samplers with the never ending grass (think Plantation Sampler). Great video, I have no idea what the fuss was about, thank goodness.

I haven't heard about what is going on in the stitching world but I have heard about the knitting. Ah well. We all know that we can never please everyone. I knit, crochet and cross stitch because of the absolute joy it brings me and nothing anyone says or does can take that away from me. I am, I reckon, a bit like you say about being in a bubble when we go to retreats. Or as some may say I have my head in the sand. Ya know what? As long as I can continue to be healthy by avoiding the negativity of the world that's all that matters. And you ladies are a big part of what brings the joy and the goodness and the positivity into my life. So Thank You both. Brenda, You are a beautiful stitcher. I know when people tell me that, I think to myself "i can count and I make x's" but I have seen some less than optimal stitching in my days. Those Scattered Seeds pieces are glorious! They are just so beautiful. I think I only have the Remember Me chart. And Laura, I did see that piece on the Evertote video with Jacob and I "gulped" when I saw it. It is so beautiful. The colors Jacob picked are so soft and beautiful. I just re-organized my fabric yesterday since I remodeled my sewing room and I realized how much fabric I am "stashing". I am 70 and I said to myself "what the heck am I saving this fabric for? I gotta start using it!!!" I can't believe< Laura, that you are going to be in Philadelphia. That is where I live (actually about 45 minutes outside the city. Our city will never be the same. I wish I knew about this retreat so I could have signed up....maybe next year. You will be here during a crazy weekend if the Phillies win this play-off series and go to the World Series!!! GO PHILS!

I will be purchasing a pdf version of the pattern. I donated two Saturdays a month to help out at the food bank. I keep track of all the demographics and we feed between 800 to a 1000 people a month. The majority of the people are single moms with 3-5 children and maybe an elderly parent or grandchildren they are caring for. The next group are the elderly that don’t have a large income to cover rising costs of food. I leave my home and drive 40 minutes to the food bank and don’t get back home until 4 or later. I can’t stress enough if you don’t have money to donate, please donate your time. These people work low paying jobs and have a lot mouths to feed or they are old and just need your help. Thank you for letting me add my concerns and I really enjoy your show ❤❤

Love all your WIPs and love the friendship you both have❤ I am an Aida stitcher and it brings me so much joy. I have tried lugana and brought lots of anxiety. I have tried 20ct linen and loved it. But the larger linen counts brings much anxiety. Their are no cross stitch police just like there is none in quilting. Everyone’s work is their interpretation of that craft they are working on. Each piece is unique and beautiful. I have had some criticism and just ignored them. Hugs!!!
