I so agree with you…I love the process of things…the journey. I’m a widow and find I like living alone because everything I do is at my own pace and I do what pleases me. At first I didn’t understand why anyone would start so many projects and not finish them before moving on, but I have the ‘fever’ of seeing something new I want to stitch now, enjoying the colors of the fabric and floss and using my own creativity to bring me contentment. For me it’s the just the journey, not the end product.

I also didn’t understand why i was seeing flosstubers with dozens of projects, and then I was putting my stitching down for weeks at a time and it suddenly clicked!

Wow! 70 WIPs! I love the variety, and have saved your video to use as a catalog of pztterns. I am currently working on a large HAED, Prairie Schooler Alphabet done all on one piece, hoping to complete a letter a month, a Christmas ornmament a month, and I am about to atart a stocking. I need to pull out a UFO to work to a finish this year as well. I will be extremely happy if I achieve my goals, but trying to do any more would be stressful! It’s such a shame isn’t it, but I’m much happier losing 8k stitches of progress than ending up years from now with a project I’m unhappy with, sometimes you just have to let go! (I’m still learning that part 😂)

I did struggle with Readly, although I have been told that screenshots work better than the download feature in the app. My new library uses PressReader and that’s proving much easier to stitch from x

What a small world! My husband’s job opportunity prompted the move, and with the children being pre-school and my job fully remote, it was a no-brainer. I’ve been a subscriber of yours for so long, since before your move (although I admit I have some catching up to do!), so it’s crazy you were so nearby! Hey! In your video you mentioned disliking stitching on paper / magazine patterns and prefer using Saga (or other programs). Are you aware you can convert your paper patterns into digital formats to be read in Cross Stitch Saga? I do it for all my paper / pdf patterns and stitch everything in Saga. It is so much faster and easier to keep track of. I do a lot less frogging.

It’s from CannyLittleFox on Instagram. She does a monthly upload and gives plenty of notice in her stories when things are going to be uploaded. You have to be quick to snap them up though, so set alarms! X

You don’t want me doing a tutorial, I promise 😂 I’ll sit down and do a post for my Ko-Fi page though with all my dimensions, when I get a minute or when I make my next one. It’s then assembled the exact same way as the Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch vinyl front project bag tutorial ❤️

I suggest you laundry Winnie the Pooh to gentle remove the stains and I believe it should soften the fabric. They make a gentle wash especially for linens, sorry I dont recal tge name.

Are you using Delica beads? Instead of blend threads use overdyed floss

I haven’t got brave enough to swap out beads yet, I’ve just got the called for ones. And that’s a great idea on the overdyed - if I can’t find anything at my LNS (it’s much easier to do these things in person) then that’s definitely an idea I’ll revisit!
