I'm still on video #90, so I haven't seen this one yet. I just wanted to jump in and say that I had never done a reproduction sampler. I never really had any interest in stitching them. Until I started watching your flosstube. You have inspired me to do a reproduction sampler. I started (barely though) Fiona Rutherford from The Wishing Thorn. Thank you for the inspiration.

Glad your back from your trip and love all your goodies and maybe one day I could go to a retreat and and be surrounded by by all you wonderful stitchers and see and learn so much more. I’ve been stitching about a year and haven’t done many samplers as veteran stitchers have done. I’ve finished 2 samplers and have 2 to 3 ships and a few haven’t started. I want to preface this comment by saying my husband has a slight hearing loss…I was watching this video and he was watching with me. Every time you said Gumnuts my husband would chuckle. I adore being home. I just spent the weekend away with the whole family. 37 of us. Very nice to see everyone but I was soooo happy to be back home. Laura, I have been wanting to stitch that little giraffe since 2022. When you pulled yours out I immediately ceased stitching my Fruits of Plenty, I grabbed a 20 ct Sparkle Gray/Silver by Wichelt and began the giraffe. He's so darn cute. Thanks for the inspiration. And speaking of inspiration, Brenda, I think I need to dust tomorrow. 🤣

So glad to see you both this afternoon! I sat down today to attempt to put in the final over one stitches on the Scarlett House Home is where my Samplers are - I had my size 10 beading needle all ready to go -- and then Brenda said she was going to skip the over one stitches - Thank you Brenda! I made some modifications and now the little sampler is done! And Laura! Who are you? So many finishes! Wow - they are all wonderful! Thank you Brenda for describing the wonderful atmosphere at the Attic - I hope to get there some day. I look forward to seeing you in two weeks - a month was too long. Stay wam - I thought 21 degrees in Northern Virginia was bad!

The only thing better than watching this delightfully long video was meeting you in person Brenda! You were definitely a pinch me moment at the Symposium! Jean is amazing and my first retreat did not disappoint in any way. I got no stitching done but now I realize why that happens. The community and the love in the room is the reason we attend. This was a TREMENDOUS video! So much wonderfulness! I had to break up the watching because of stuff I had to do(watch the Chiefs) and had a funeral of a friend & neighbor to attend today with treacherous travel on icy roads. My husband and I toured London for two weeks prior to the sampler weekend, Hearing about your travels took me back to that amazing trip. I LOVED Liberty!
