People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. I was in the audience when they filmed this, coukdnt help but feel he felt a bit sad. The crew took ages to set up a scene about 4/5 hours in, brendan went to his dressing room and came back out with food he had brought himself and started handing it out to the audience and taking the time to speak to people, as did Alan. Lovely people.

He sound like that in all the interviews I've seen from the last 6 months. Watching him I get the feeling he's developed some level of social anxiety and might be very insecure these days. Then again he's said he always felt like he wasn't good enough so not surprising. But he looks way better now than he did just 6 months ago. There is more life in his eyes now.

He suffered several injuries during the Mummy films, which left him going in and our of hospital for 7 years with back problems, needing knee surgery and problems with his vocal cords. He needed to retain his voice and it's more shaky than it used to be. Good to see him making a come back, though.

The1999 mummy remake is a fantastic movie. Sadly it was dismissed at the time for having CGI visual effects but if you watch it now so much of the film is practical - including this near strangulation of the star!
