I bought this book from you back in 2000....you kindly signed it too. Still the best instructional book I ever used.

Brendan I am visiting Ireland for the first time in about a month. I plan on seeing a trad session and would love to jump in but I cannot figure out how to play with them. Watched and listened to many videos but I seldom see a harmonica and if I do I cannot hear it. The music to an outsider is very difficult to follow. Any tips as how to find some chords etc. that would at least allow a rookie to not embarrass himself. This Irish stuff is very difficult indeed. Thanks

First I heard about it - even though I have been following you on you tube for at least 2 years. KZbins algorithm makes it impossibly hard to find anything it seems. Going to be getting this book asap.

Thanks for the info - maybe I need to publicize the book better 👍

I have got a question. Ich bought your Book and I play in a Jahamonica hohner Rocket in easy third. Can I play along with it and lesen with your Book?

If one didn’t have a D or G harp yet can these be played on a C harp? I am just starting to play and only have a C Hohner Crossover. I am really into Irish music and don’t want to spend time learning blues or another style since I am not wanting to learn that style.

Yes, but it would be in a different key from the examples. Also, it seems he uses a Paddy Richter tuning. So you may need to tune your harp to make the playing easier.
