Dear Mr. Power, I recently bought a couple of Kongsheng KB 12s. To me, it seems lijk the material of the shell is not as smooth as for instance the Hohner. My lips tend to get irritated after a while and I can't move as fast around the harmonica. What is your experience?

sir I am also a harmonica player. I am self taught. But one Problem is that we cannot tune the harmonica or set the octaves. And can't Control the reverb base and pitch. Is there any Harmonica or harmonica like instrument that can produce various sounds. And I can shift octaves. I can get sound of harp, Trumpet, saxophone or kind of sounds with plugging in processor. Is there such kind of harmonica? Where can I get that? I am from india

Can you set it to 432 hz frequency? And add a droning sound.

I would honestly vote this as the most expressive western free reed instrument to this day. (Ironically, sounds very eastern 😆). I wish more people would embrace it and push the boundaries on it. I dont think anyone else has really posted about it with Brendan's ability yet.

@@kenzieprice6745 The AsiaBend is quite challenging to start with, and many good established players I've given it to put it down after a few seconds and say "Not for me!!“. That's a pity, but hopefully a few younger players with less of an entrenched mindset will adopt it over time...

Now that they discontinued the good golden melodies... I'm shopping ... When you said hi note draw Bends do you mean overdraws? I need a harmonica out of the box that's going to overdraw on 7 , 9 and 10 ?
